Hi, I'm Bridget, a DIY-er and furniture flipper! In the middle of Covid, I quit my cushy job in tech sales that was constantly stressing me out and determined to find something that I actually liked doing. I found furniture flipping when trying to make some extra cash and fell in love!
I started with zero design knowledge, zero tools experience, and an empty garage. If I can take a risk on myself and learn this totally new skillset from scratch, I know you can too. So follow along for tips & tricks, transformations, and all the "quit your job and start a business" inspo you need! I'm so excited you're here.

EXTREME Dresser Makeover...with SECRET INGREDIENT!
Beautiful work!❤
You forgot the thousands dollar in tools you used...
How long did it take you to complete? Awesome profit margin.
Beautiful redesign but not a fan of the color. I bet your friend is overjoyed by it though! ❤
So pretty
The floor looks great! The only thing I would have done differently is to run the available heat wire through it. No cold feet ever again 😊
Sorry, which available heat wire did you mean more precisely, as i would like to install on the bathroom floor, and on the kitchen floor, as those floors are super cold in the winter? Many thanks.
Did that in my son's room 8 years ago with furniture from the 1920's and 40's. Ages are mark in them by the carpenters. Look great!
Excellent job.
Thank you! 🙏
Gorgeous, what is that color please?
It’s called Deep Anchor by Up Paint!
@@buildingbridget !
Thank you so much!
Looks amazing. But would be easier to buy brand new
I mean it def would, but that’s not really the point of this video 😅
I’m truly blown away by this!! You are such an inspiration to anyone to do the same to their own homes.
Aww this is such a kind thing to say!! Thanks so much 🥹🫶
I ❤❤❤ this!!!
Aww thank you!! 🙏
Great transformation! It’s really nice to know someone else notices when the bulbs don’t match in a light fixture. I thought that I was just being too OCD. 🙃
Ahaha no that would drive me crazy! 😆 especially since I feel like they’re all slightly different shades

These are beautiful, and it’s crazy how I just heard today about using Bondo on furniture! I knew about it being used on automobiles, but not on furniture. Who knew? 🤷♀️
Yesss it’s def more well known for automobiles! There are lots of different kinds of bondo though, you can use either the “wood filler” or “all purpose putty” versions on furniture 👍
Thank you!
Looks sharp!!
Thanks so much! 🙏
The colour is gorgeous 😮wow xx
Thank you!! I’ve never been much of a navy person but this might have changed my mind 😆💙
Very nice
Thank you! 🫶
looks so preety wow, good job 👏🏻
Aww thank you!! 🥹🫶
Cool. Good job!
Thanks so much! 🙏
New subscriber here! Can you do a video on fixing drawer slides.
So beautiful. Can you be my friend 🤣🤣 lol?!?!?!
Ahahaaa of course!! Where am I flying 😆
Where did you get the vanity?
Home Depot! I was shocked it’s great quality, tons of storage, and under $900 which is pretty good for something that size
What brand of paint did you use?🎉 They are looking good! 🎉
Thank you so much! This one is from Up Paint 😊
Beautiful 💗✨🙌🏻
Thanks girl!! 😊🫶
Looks great! I’d love to have a friend like you. ❤
Aww so sweet of you, thank you! Love being able to do things like this for the people around me 😊
Wowwwww
🫶🫶
Woww that after is gorgeous!
Aww thanks so much!! 🫶
Wow Mama, you did a BEAUTIFUL JOB🤍✨️ That $10 dresser is looking like a $1,000 dresser 😊 thanks for all the tips and etc. I'm about 2 tackle my 1st refurbishment im excited and nervous. Nt gonna lie the wood filler 😮 caught me by surprise 😅
Stunning 😮
Thank you!! 🥹🙏
Love everything except that floor tile.
Aha fair enough! I’m surprised though, what do you not like about it?
@@buildingbridget Marble is difficult to clean and stains easily. Artificial marble is tacky and will age poorly. Between the "grain" and the grout and the muted color, I don't think marble looks good as a floor, especially the more matte the surface. That's just my opinion though. I've lived in houses with marble (or recently, faux marble) floor tile and have developed a real distaste for it, lol.
its looking fiiine
Thank youuu! 🙏
Looks great, though I'd have removed the textured ceiling, it looks dated and isnt that hard to get rid of.
Thanks! And eh it’s actually kinda hard to remove in this house since it’s been painted over so it really doesn’t scrape off easily. The cleanup is also miserable AND then you have to skim coat and prime/paint the ceiling. Doable but not worth it for me atm 😅
Ooo it looks so nice, hope it sells well :>
Thanks so much! 🥹 Me toooo, I’ve put a lot of sweat equity into this place lol
textures ceilings make me barf
Honestly same but removing them makes me barf more 💀
Looks great! If you were staying, I'd suggest removing the popcorn ceiling. It's just not a great idea ever, but especially in a bathroom where it gets very humid. However, if I wasn't staying, I wouldn't mess with it either! The work looks great ❤
Thank you so much!! ❤️ I removed the popcorn ceiling from a small half bathroom in this same house and it was BRUTAL cuz it was painted over therefore way harder to remove 😅 I agree tho if I was staying longer term I’d probably suck it up and do it!
Definitely would have a put a cleanout in for the double vanity. Otherwise it's impossible to use a cabler to unclog.
Looks great! 🎉
Thank you! ❤️
Wow ur amazing how can I learn lol
Awww thank you haha! ❤️ You totally can, I’ve taught myself over the last couple years just by following other DIY-ers/furniture flippers and most importantly by taking on projects myself and learning through trial and error 😊
Mdf 🤮
It’s cheaper and it works just as well lol?? It’s not like this is structural
That looks fantastic. Should be easy to sell now 🎉. Good luck 💖🤠🛼🛼
Yayyy thank you!! That’s the goal 🙌🤞
You’re so talented 😮wowww
Aww you’re too kind, thanks so much 🥹
Gorgeous 😊
Thank you! 🙏
You did such a good job!! Makes me want to go tear up my bathroom floor right now Lol
Aww thank you!! It’s therapeutic, trust me 😆👌
Not crazy about the floor but you worked hard and did a great job❤
Aha fair enough, to each their own! Appreciate that 🫶
I LOVE the color!! I would buy it if i needed a dresser!
Aww so sweet!! Thank you 🫶🫶
great and smart work there, chickie!
Thank you! 😆🙏
Is spray paint water or oil?
Is that Bleed Thru?
Yes 😭😭
What color (light tan?) is the "after" edging of the top of the table, please? Thanks! Debbi
Oh that detail is the actual wood grain! I just gave it a paint wash with a tan/griege paint (sorry I don’t have a name since it was an oops paint from Home Depot 🥲)
You are doing a fantastic job.😊
So kind!! Thank you 🙏🥹
Nice job ❤
Thanks so much! ❤️
