So if you can loot the trinkets as a healer spec, we don't get hit the 33% reduction in damage that the blue post said? It's nice to always have some kind of damage option but as you said, that int is was feels best as a healer, always. The first trinket you went over has been by far my favorite, except for when these PUG tanks run out of the pulsing holy glow thinking it's an enemy mechanic 😂 Great video Jak!

As a healer, my only goal is to heal. Its too easy? Yeah then make it harder for me(mana/Cds etc.) This stupid system to heal AND dps. Seriously. Thats why i uninstalled dragonflight. Played for a few days

Unfortunately Blizzard seems to believe the exact opposite. Dps classes are healing more than ever and are getting more cooldowns in War Within.

Honestly trinkets that give me better visual feedback or personal entertainment like the bell and the darkness one are more impactful than better statted trinkets for my taste. It's better to see your character morph into something else or your spells suddenly have extra visual effects than get more stats. In my opinion anyway

Would love to hear your thoughts on the trinket changes blizzard made with reducing the effectiveness of tank/dps trinkets for healers and vice versa, feels like almost all healer specific trinkets are either boring or so niche they are used in maybe on dungeon or a single raid boss. To a lesser extent would also like to know what you think about them nerfing damage procs for healers by 33% along with trinkets, feels like we just spent all of dragonflight being forced to deal damage and using tank trinkets to survive just for blizzard to now say that is a bad thing but they literally forced us to do it with their horrible tuning.

In blizzard mind weak healer, starving on mana, hard casting 3sec spells are fun to play. And ofc all dungeons have stupid AoE spike damage. Just give healers power in healeng, lets them burn mana but have way to regenerate it in save moments. Bucket with no trinkets and active regen will end with holding healer. For what we have big tree if we choose only that with mana efficiency.

Are any of these going to have the penalty for using them as a healer that Blizz talked about? It is hard to know what is a "healer" trinket/cantrip vs a "dps" one sometimes. I wish they would label them in the tooltip. Since the title of the video is specific to healers can we assume none of these will have a penalty?

Such a shame trinket damage can't add to attonment. Always feels zzz running double stat sticks as disc.

I have been playing as a resto druid since 2005 as a hardcore player and rolled to dps in shadowlands. I started to enjoy the game again. All that responsibility, blame, math, controlling everything is gone. I lowered my IQ and enjoyed the game again. Will never roll to healer again. At least with this image of healing.

With Ovinax's Mercurial Egg, there's a line that says that stacks above 20 grant 60% reduced benefit, so ideally you have a balance between standing still and moving - 20/10 or even 15/15 could be an ideal split over a 30/0 depending on how significant your secondaries are (although I will admit I don't know how stat weighting works/will work so maybe secondaries aren't nearly as good as 40% main stat for the last 10 stacks)

Was just rewatching this at 12:50 you say about how hpower spenders don't do healing, they also burn through your mana for no reward I don't get that design choice at all. Either it does little healing for no mana cost or it does alot for what it costs now or just get rid of hpower it's honestly so confusing design wise.

Hopefully they tune things well. It would be nice to have more than one or two trinkets that you just use and you can tailor it to your group.

I am disc priest, I just want damage trinket to apply to atonement. Please blizz

More tuning will happenand current numbers dont matter so much, but all these tww video spend to much talks about throughput.

With the Earthen trinket it just sounds like you could have one of these on each group member and run no healer

I don't get this "healer damage trinket". You have to sacrifice at LEAST a healing cd to "Heal" mob to do dmg... I don't think the trade off is worth it at all on beta. Hpriest will keep it alive well, MW is just SooM spam and Hpal runs out of buttons to press. You sink your healing cd's trying to get dmg out :/

I think healers should be healers. Remove damage spells for healers from the game completely. Why are blizzard hell bent on destroying the game? As a HEALER i want to heal, make it harder for me, make more damage, consistent damage, i dont want dead spot down time moments where i need to do damage. I AM A HEALER, LET ME FUCKING HEAL. Retarded AF

Do you have a condensed rating of healers for this content?

People talk about healer damage mattering I would like to throw something else into the conversation. How much does healer damage matter, if every X amount of damage a healer does will mean X amount of healing they will not be able to do later. Yes this is going back to the whole "mana should matter" thing again but back when mana actually mattered I would legit have people scold me for throwing up a Shadow Word death, Holy Fire, or Smite because I was burning mana. They would be ok if I was wanding since it was mana free but beyond that healer mana was a real concern and some groups simply didn't trust you to manage your mana in order to DPS, and heal at the same time. Overall I'm a huge fan of limited resources, not just for healers but also DPS and tanks, and needing to work with and design groups in order to ensure the group could clear content. Hell some world firsts back in TBC happened because one guild put Shadow Priest, the mana battery, with their DPS instead of with the healers which gave them the resources to kill a boss before the enrage timer hit. Now, however, everyone pretty much has infinite resources and the concept of managing those resources to ensure you can make it through a fight simply doesn't exist. It's just balls to the walls nonstop and it's really boring.
