ahaha, so true I am still rocking my 2015 Macbook Pro but I hope to update it soon. I'm waiting to see if they are coming out with a new during their roll out in september/october. I'm so happy that everything is going awesome with writing. I love when characters have their own misconceptions of the other character. Its always fascinating when you get to the other person's POV. Not a healthy recipe, but simple since you've already made sweet potato fries. If you ever want a little dessert, melting marshmallows and chocolate on sweet potato fries is delicious. Not too sweet imo if you're not a fan of super sweet stuff. Always love your writing vlogs also 🥰🥰

I just recently borrowed check and mate from the library! I don’t read much romance but I actually enjoyed the love hypothesis, I guess because I was in a similar life stage as the main character doing my biochem Master’s at uni, so I hope I’ll enjoy check and mate too. The whole chess thing I’m also really interested in so I’m looking forward to reading it :))

Truly devious is very light in my opinion but it is part of a 5 book soon to be 6 book series, it’s really good though Truly Devious younger people could read it and be completely fine, and Five survive is one of my favourite books of all time :)

When I was a younger writer I did use my fiction to pour out my emotions into characters. I think it can work for some writers but it usually hamstrung me 😅 Once I switched to journaling for the emotional deluge it made it easier to kind of pick and choose what felt right for my characters. It made writing fiction feel less physically and mentally taxing. I think because of the extra emotional vulnerability of being aware that you want an audience for the fiction but not for the journaling.

It’s almost August and summer is almost over 😆. I absolutely adore the fall, I mean almost half my wardrobe is fall clothing. I appreciate the summer, but sweating all day in the humidity is just not it, especially when you don’t have a car.

Watching you challenge yourself to write 2k words in a day was so inspiring that I decided to try the same after not having written for a few days. Even though 2k words is also a little above my daily word count, I reached it! Thanks for making such motivating videos, Vee!

I need to keep that mindset of just writing whatever to get the words on the page and not worry about the quality for a first draft! Helps so much.. you can always edit it and make it perfect later, but you need something to fix first! Great vlog :) Love Emily Henry!

No matter what I just can’t write a whole draft :( I write one sentence and I hate it so much I stop writing 😅all I have for 1 1/2 years of ‘writing’ is an amalgamation of sentences and quotes and ideas but no solid draft, it’s also so hard to find the motivation to write when I work a 9-5 job and was at uni previously. However, Watching your videos has really helped to inspire me so I’ll keep pushing myself :) I look forward to reading your book one day!
