I was there! It was such a joy seeing Ren have fun on stage. There was a bunch of his collaborators in the line-up: Romain, Scarlet, Ruby, Chinchilla of course. Half his show was collaboration. Duets with Chinchilla, then "Humble" with Eden Nash was fantastic. Ren, Victus, Knox Hill rapping and Samuel dancing and jumping all over the stage was a blast :-D Still can't believe I saw it...

Yes he can make us smile, and laugh because he has a killer sense of humor. I think some people balk at the word parody, which is understandable . Hey! Nice commentary as always. I was one of the people fortunate enough to attend SGP and see the incomparable Ren along with so many other incredible artists. Romain Axisa and Ren are absolutely phenomenal solo artists, but together they make a special kind of magic. 💔❤️‍🩹❤️ I suggest you check out Romain’s solo work. He does a lot of instrumental stuff as well. Also, Ren has another song called It’s Alright that he did as a solo artist many years ago. The song and video for that one are really beautiful and a favorite of mine. Cheers!

Try her songs "persuasive" and "stressed" for the vibe and try the original version of "girls" or "spookie coochie" to hear her rap-rap

I agree with you about watching the performance rather than filming it, but they may have been doing it just to share with the rest of us, early, before the official videos are released.

Their song "Left Right" actually made it to U.S radio airwaves last year (MediaBase Top 40 Radio Airplay Chart). Rolling Stone and Elle voted it one of the best songs of 2023. I hope more and more people hear XG and increase their exposure. Thank you for the reaction.

For those of us who have followed Ren's journey, it is heartwarming to see him performing after a long pause for his health, to see him come alive with the music is an emotional experience! Thank you for reacting to it❤🎉

I heard about Ren playing the SGP festival and simply had to be there. Unlike many, I only was there the Sat, met some lovely people who'd travelled from Europe. I was in such a perfect place about 4 rows of people back from the beautiful stage. Him being joined by Chinchilla for Chalk Outlines and one of the 2 new songs they've created was a joy, as was Eden Nash singing Humble with him, with the same trumpeter. There was a string quartet and the pianist (Charlie?) from MG3, which he did at the end of part 1 of his Asylum show. He did Bongo Bong and my favourite, Dignity, with Romain. I should add, I saw many brilliant bands / artists throughout the day.
