Dont know much about his history other than he was heavy into addiction. He had very few followers when Ren shouted him out and the Renegades flocked to his unusual and passionate music. His manager got him into rehab and since Ren showed him such support, he now has a supportive community helping otbers get sober.
Ren has hinted that he may be doing some work with Dirt which i think would be astounding! Can't even imagine what it would soynd like but revolutionary for both of them. Dirt dies a magical guitar instrumental by the crashing waves of the California coast yhat is breathtaking.
Ren and Dirt together? I can't even imagine how awesome that would be
It's easy to see why Ren liked it so much and suggested we check him out. I love his voice and authenticity. Ren is big on pushing other artists that he likes. As Ren has often said "A rising tide lifts all ships".
love Dirt, amazing voice, my playlist of choice. He Was a Good Man, Troubled by the silence amd D1 are prob my favs xo
💪💪💪💪
He lives in California. I discovered him because of Ren.
I wanna know his story foreal
Jay, thank you so much for reacting to Dirt Miller. I also found him through Ren and have been following him for about a year. Such a unique voice and a great musician. Guitar, piano, banjo and who knows what else he plays beautifully. He has a decent back catalog, some of which is under "topic". Dirt seems to be a private dude who let's his music do the talking. Next up, please consider reacting to "He Was a Good Man". Appreciate your positive reaction.🤘
@@ultraredd anytime 💪💪💪
Dirts catalog is extensive as well!
A Ren recommendation I'm so glad to have been turned onto.
He is another talented dude! Ren introduced us to him! Always on my playlist 🎉😊
Love Dirt! I would have never found him if Ren hadn't given him a shout-out. I'm so happy I did. I was fortunate enough to see him play a year ago this past August at the Klamath Music Festival. He was fantastic! Mutiple instruments & live looping. Just amazing.
For some fire guitar- try Guitar Symphony (instrumental). Also love D1, Roll the Dice & The Sun Don't Shine.
Shout to Dianne Copeland, the videographer, too. They always find the most intriguing dystopian sites to film. This was filmed at the International Car Forest of the Last Church in Southern Nevada.
Thanks for the reaction. 💛
Edit: As @loras2cents mentioned, he's posted about his life, his struggles and successes, on his community page.
Dirt is amazing and so is his videographer. Everything I've heard so far is great and the videos are all beautiful
Discovered on Ren's recommendation about a year ago. This gentleman is 🔥🔥🙏💪🐝🍀
Like many others, I also found him through Ren. I don't know where you can find a full bio, but he has shared in his community posts about his struggles with alcohol and drug addiction and credits his manager with saving his life by getting him into rehab. His song D1 is really powerful IMO.
Dirt’s manager Dianne Copeland is also his cinematographer. This video location is at an open air art gallery called the International Car Forest of the Last Church near Goldfield, Nevada. All of Dirt’s videos are very artistic. His video for The Sun Don’t Shine was also shot at a very unique location called Bombay Beach in California.
Yeah, I also discovered Dirt Miller from Ren's recommendation. Dirt is really good on guitar, but also I like his style of singing.
Dirt is an amazing artist! Loved this! Appreciate u my friend xx
💪💪🙏🙏🙏
Thrilled to see you found Dirt. I was going to suggest him.
Authenticity. No wonder Ren likes this guy. His storytelling game is outrageous and he’s genuine. Thank you for sharing this. 🙏😊🙏
Wow ❤
Yes! I was hoping you'd react to this. Dirt's such a vibe.
I wanna know more about him but can’t find much on the web
LOVE Dirt. My favorite song of his is D1, but love so many others.
Another good one of his is Blinded by Substance. Excellent visuals, too.
Ren has introduced us to him... and others who he thought was worth mentioning!
Every one has expanded my musical background!
Ten is like that!
He was minutes away from giving up... thanks to Ren... he didnt!!!
Imagine walking through a desert and seeing a bus standing on it’s end like it dropped out the sky! Great song great video.
This is brand new to me. Very cool.
Dirt said the song is based on a conversation he had with a guy from LA who had landed in Kansas City. I can't remember the details, but I think the guy really was a Blood. Dirt himself is based in LA, but it seems to me he was originally from Washington. Yeah, it was because of Ren that I checked out Dirt, revisiting this haunting song several times...
Proud to call myself a Dirt Bag! I really hope to see him live some day 🔥🦇🔥🦇🔥🦇🔥🦇🔥
He's currently on tour.
I actually haven't listened to a whole lot of his music so thank you for this! 😊
Just trying just trying lol
The following is information that I found online: “Dirt Miller is an American multi-instrumentalist and songwriter from Spokane WA who has been entrenched in music his entire life. With a saga to tell about a life lived hard, and a recovery fought for even harder, Dirt’s guitar virtuosity combined with his unique singing style and interpretation of humble melodies and lyrics paint a lush scenario of Americana soul. His early influences like Bob Dylan, Cat Stevens, James Taylor and Led Zeppelin echo in his songs. Music that comes from pure instinct and deep roots in American folklore and blues history, influenced by the majestic lands of this country and spirituality. Dirt Miller’s music (co-produced by composer Max DiCarlo) is comprised of real instrumentation - cellos, violins and percussion - creating a surreal world of images and emotion. Telling the human story with eloquence, fierceness, beauty and a personal edge that hearkens to one’s inner soul, Dirt showcases a dynamic mastery of technical guitar playing matched with a gritty sultry voice that is sure to cut straight to your heart strings - always leaving you wanting more. All written from his true-life experience, the music speaks for itself! Dirt is represented by Manager Dianne Copeland (Copeland Entertainment) and by William Morris Endeavor (WME).”
Damn thank u Colleen 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
So glad you grabbed this. Dirt is incredible. Dirt had a serious past full drugs, violence. Yeah, he’s definitely cripped tf out. I don’t know much about him beyond that he lives in Southern CA, this was shot in Nevada, he’s an incredible and highly unusual guitar virtuoso, that he’s been hard sober for years now after having fallen into addiction amidst the life and that on the day Ren pointed fans his way he was contemplating suicide, but the sudden clamor for his music brought him back around.
The beauty of music n how it connects people
Also, if you search for him online you will find him featured in a street rap with two other rappers. He’s in that world. He’s from out of that world.
✌️🔥
Cool bro...glad you watched it👍.... listen to he was a good man, song about his father...im Shure you w be able to relate..
🙏
You should really do yourself a favor and check out some more Dirt. He's a phenomenal musician, and you said, a great story teller.
Don't be surprised if we see a Ren/Dirt collab in the future...but not on the upcoming Ren album which will have many collabs. #savesickboi
