Fun fact: Adult Swim made those scary bumpers to scare kids because they sometimes stay up past their bedtime on a school day. Like they always say: When you don't listen to your parents, you get punished. And that's *exactly* what they're doing. Also, I don't find these bumpers scary. I find them really awesome and creative. Sometimes when you look back on something that scared you as a child, they're just not scary anymore.

a lot are uncanny and have an eerie feel to it, but Fab Sauce is legitimately disturbing. The Heart, She Holler intercuts were incredible, especially if you have no idea it's supposed to be for a show lol

This old flash game came to mind when I recently watched Scooby Doo 2 with my nephew. The first time I played it, I was around eight years old, and when I opened the sarcophagi I didn't know what to expect. I just leaned in closer to see if I had to pick up something or because I didn't see the text and heard a faint thumping sound. Because of the jumpscares and sudden loud noise I got so scared I fell backwards from my chair and slammed my head against the hard floor, causing me to cry from pain and terror. Because this happened in my classroom, everyone has seen my reaction to this cruel jump scare.
