Today's NHL might seem soft but then we're reminded why. Ironically, Chris Pronger could not take a hit himself. As a result his career of cheap shots was cut short due to concussion.

On at least two occasions, Chris Chelios refused to shake hands with the Ducks after being eliminated by them in the playoffs (2003 and 2007). Who knows how many other times he did this.
