I listened to “I’m glad you’re evil too” for the first time last week, and I can confidently say that it has officially joined the ranks of “5th of July” by Owl City and “It Only Takes a Moment” from _Hello Dolly!_ as one of those songs that will always make me cry whenever I listen to it. There’s a **very** good reason why ubnubmaster did an entire video on that song.

This video is such a good summary of Eve as an artist! I first got into him during lockdown when I began listening to Kaikai Kitan, then I began looking at his other music videos and going from there. Him imbuing his songs with both meaning and artistry is what made me a fan. Sometimes I see comments online about how people want him to go back to how he used to sound, but I ran into the same problem as you, just in a different way; about 50% of any of my playlists is just Eve, so when I kept on listening to his older stuff I realized that I had to take it off to keep it from becoming stale to my mind. His new stuff is fresh and shows off the strength of his voice. If he ever does a tour of the east coast or if I get the time to travel when I’m older, I truly want to see him live once in my life. I recently got introduced to Eve thanks to Chainsaw Man. I spent one night putting all the music videos I could find into a playlist and I got up to 30 or so. Now I am concerned that I missed a bunch. Eve is awesome.
