There needs to be a proper economic investigation and once the players and results are discovered then there needs to be a criminal investigation that results in the people involved losing their jobs, profits, pensions, property, freedom and in some cases their heads.

This is an extremely misleading graph, the y axis is not visible, yet the 20% rise is much bigger than the baseline 100% meaning that the scale is not linear, which was never stated. This is at best negligence and most likely blatant manipulation. (I am not arguing against the notion that inflation in the US was high lately, I'm trying to point out that the data is not presented in good faith)

Obviously, the graph has been distorted by truncating the x-axis to exaggerate the effect of inflation. But in the video, they hide the x avis. Why did we have high inflation? Five of the biggest reasons are: 1. Trump’s tax cut for the rich added TRILLIONS of dollars to America’s debt, which helped stoke higher demand and continues to contribute to inflation. 2. Supply chain disruptions caused by COVID. 3. Biden programs to protect people’s incomes and survival while not working due to COVID. 4. Corporations jacking up prices to increase profits. Notwithstanding the disastrous economic effects of COVID, they DOUBLED corporate profits by over a TRILLION per year, the increase amounting to about 3% of GDP or the total output of the economy. 5. Oil price increases related to the war in Ukraine and OPEC keeping prices high. The only one Biden had control over was his programs to protect people during the COVID crisis, which helped millions of Americans weather the crisis and kept the economy primed for a quick recovery. So we can thank Biden for helping a quick recovery after COVID but should not blame him for the inflation.

Price gouging. Its called price gouging. Most of the rise in costs came from greedy business owners blaming the greed in the pandemic and inflation.

Inflation being 2% is a huge accomplishment after what it was. Prices still will go up but deflation is HORRIBLE for economies to endure and going back is near impossible. What we're fortunate for though, is that this inflation isn't caused by normal factors. Its caused by corporations greed. If you can reduce profits and exec wages to realistic numbers, all of a sudden "inflation" goes back down.

Inflation is caused by compound interest. Get rid of it. Get rid of inflation.
