Get more POWER into your single handed backhand
zhlédnutí 705Před 21 hodinou
Hitting a more powerful backhand can only be done if you turn more than sideways, use the largest muscles in your body to create rotational power and transfer it into linear power the goes towards your target. So stop hitting only with your hands use your body more in a efficient way
WHEN to use slice backhands
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed dnem
Slice backhands are used at different situations. For example you can use it when returning your opponents first serves or you can approach the net with a slice shot. Having a good feel with slice can definitely give you more opportunities to get into offensive situation.

The number 1 role of backhand
zhlédnutí 1,1KPřed měsícem
With the forehand your number 1 role is to force errors from your opponent but with the backhand usually the goal is different.
Your shot is not FINISHED until...
zhlédnutí 864Před měsícem
Let`s say you hit a good forehand cross court shot. It felt good you enjoy the feeling you got out it...but... the shot is not finished until you have made your RECOVERY to a proper position or you REPOSITION.
NO stress about hitting winners
zhlédnutí 2,8KPřed měsícem
When hitting your approach shot you have to gain advantage and use it when hitting a volley. But don`t "overcook" your approach shot. There is no need to go for a winner right beside the lines. Hit your approach and make your opponent run after the ball. There `s a fine line with it but in ORDER to WIN more points you rather want your opponent to make forced errors compared trying to end points...

My problem is my 8 equals a regular 4 in my 0-10 scale. My 10 is not super strong as you can tells. Therefore 0-10 my grip is 8 but my nails not going Whyte yet 😂
Try different grip pressures and find out what works best for you. Hold it just firm enough to have complete control over your shots. Hitting the ball with loose grip(not too loose) gives you a lot of fun feeling emotions and it's injury free as well.
Do an exercise where you Grip the racquet with 3 fingers to get the feel of being relaxed helps too. Have you tried that?
Definitely, hitting the ball in a RELAXED way it's so enjoyable 😊 Almost in every forehand i finish the shot holding the racquet with 4 fingers (letting go of my pinky finger) By doing that i FEEL more relaxed. Same goes with the serve. After each serve(kick, flat, slice) i let go of my pinky finger to relax my grip and hand helping me to not getting tired too fast 😂
Thank you for your valuable tips ❤
Excellent points bro thank you❤
Glad i can help
I always start relaxed and then at the middle/end of each session my forehand gets weak/stiff/tired, but my two handed backhand is always the same. Tips? MAbye use my left are to holder the racket longer before hitting to release to weight from the right arm?
Thanks for the comment! Good question. Maybe use your non dominant hand more to support the racquet longer so your dominant hand can rest more. It can be also technique which causes you to feel tired. Which shot is your strength is it your forehand or backhand. Maybe you hit tons of forehands and eventually you get tired. I guess your backhand biomechanics are better and you make the ball fly more easily with the backhand.
@@RaulRander When i play my absolute best its my forehand, but my backhand is good almost every session. Yes, think i may have to use my non dominant hand more. Its funny because my backhand was very bad, but my forehand became bad suddenly 2.3 years ago and because of it my backhand improved ALOT haha. wish it was more balanced tough...
@@Mauruud for some reason i bet you have two handed backhand and it`s more consistent overall. Maybe you try new things with the forehand to improve it but somehow they don`t work as much as you would want.
@@RaulRander Yes im currently trying to play looser, (That why i got this video recomended i guess) because i think i hold back and dont hit trough the swing. Sometimes it works very good, but sometimes i can hit the ball in the wall behind. So it can be very good, but its very up and down
@@Mauruud if i could see your forehand shots i could answer better. Take care.
It’s the gem 👌🔥😳
Nice technique. My one handed backhand has similar technique. The difference is I have been working on it diligently for the last 48 years since 1975. 😊
Wow...that's a heck of a long time... it took me 10 years to start hit the backhand with topsin-used to hit only slices at first. Forehand feels a lot more natural for me
Amazing court maybe film a match there and analyse it
Thanks Noah, have to do that 😊
Thanks coach new tennis knowledge now., I also like your tennis court very beautiful
Thanks, i enjoy that court as well 😊
@@RaulRander hopefully i play that kind of court
high ball slice information is excellent-thanks
I would like to SEE you hit the ball, it's part of the exercice.
Thanks for the comment Ben, in the next part i`m also hitting some balls.
Sweet slice
Thanks Randy!

As we follow thru the non-dominant hand opposes the dominant hand, Aka spread the wings. Otherwise great instructions
Thanks Evie, yes i didn't focus enough on the non-dominant hand.
what a pristine clean court!
Making contact in front helps you not hit off your back foot. Looking forward to part 4
Part 4 is coming tomorrow
Excellent tips and lesson thankful to you❤
congrats on hitting 500 subs, you deserve it!
Thanks Jarl, you have played a good part of it man!

Thank you Danh!

Thank you!
Thanks coach! You coaching very well as always
Good tips.
Thank you!
Good video. Thank you.
Glad i can help.
I understand your point, but technically the shot is over after your follow-through stops. You’re running to middle of the court. It’s just what you’re supposed to do since many people were taught this since their first tennis lesson.
Thanks coach., honestly i always struggle when I'm going in to the net
What do you think what would be the reason?
@@RaulRander maybe because of wrong covering the net position that you talking about on your video., or maybe I'm not focusing my eyes in to the incoming ball
@@Nice-ElvzTrip make sure you get an advantage first with your approach. We don't want to go to the net to defend we want to end the point there.
@@RaulRander Thanks coach I will remember that
I finished all your Forehand Series., you instruct very well., thanks coach
Thanks man, how long have you been playing tennis for.

Bro, try harder
congratulations on hitting 400 subs!
Cheers mate 🎉
Thank you, great advice! I've just subscribed !
Thanks for your comment, glad i can help.
thanks - makes sense especially if you have a big forehand
Thanks for the comment Suhayl! First serve and run around forehand force your opponent to make the most amount of errors. Use these weapons a lot to get an advantage and add more pressure by going to the net. Don't pressure yourself to hit more winners instead of make your opponent situation uncomfortable.
pure genius!@@RaulRander

Thanks for this video on volley foot work. Now I have some idea on how to stand and move to the volley. Will you be doing a video on poaching ? Just asking :):) Thanks.
Poaching video will come in a few weeks time 😊
Your videos are great. Keep them coming.
Thank you Stephen!

Thanks for your comment!! I actually feel the best when my whole body weight goes through the shot and i have proper spacing and hit the ball out in front 😊
Loved 1:35 strokes, coil and uncoil was awesome. Do more of that. Don't turn your body to early you destroyed that ball. I recently integrated that into my game and its another level. Most set up and turn way to early and it kills power and natural motion.
