MINDSET when you go to the net

Often times i see rec players after losing their first point get discouraged and quit going to the net. When in reality they are capable of winning more points than losing points at the net.
Make a quick analysis why you are winning at the net or why you are losing at the net.
A lot of it depends on the quality of your approach shot.
Have a winning mindset when approaching the net and really push yourself to win the point but still congratulate your opponent when he/she makes a quality passing shot.
Even at the pro level a match loser ends up winning more points at the net comparing losing points.
