I would totally work for Hank Scorpio, the guy seemingly cares about his employees takes the time to check on them, cares about their opinions, doesn't mock and even encourages Homers ideas no matter how dumb they are. And in return Homer works hard for Hank and does a good job. Any bosses here, that's how you run a company and getting the best out of your employees

It’s interesting that Smithers was their first choice for this position. He was offered to work for someone who was even worse than Burns, except he’s a nice guy to his employees. It would be interesting to imagine how Smithers would’ve liked working for Scorpio. Smithers has a conscience though.

I love how Scorpio somehow knows that Homer wouldn’t be bothered by his supervillainy even when it’s right in front of him.

‘Five fabulous weeks of the Chevy Chase Show” is so fantastic in that it only ran for six weeks, meaning that even if you only ran an episode PER WEEKDAY of the hosted ‘marathon’ you would have aired more than 75% of the entire catalogue.

The man is a superstar in the Simpsons franchise, despite only having a major appearance in one episode.

I think someone eating part of his lunch was actually his villain origin story. That morning he walked in the building as an eccentric but successful businessman. When someone ate a part of his lunch he just snapped and decided "OK, I'm going to have to overthrow the UN and conquer the world."

"Lead paint: delicious but deadly" may actually be somewhat factually accurate. There are certain lead compounds (especially so-called "sugar of lead") that really do taste sweet. It's why the Romans made their wine in lead pots rather than copper pots (which made the wine taste terribly bitter), although it ended up killing thousands of them.
