I've been riding a friend's tw200 for a while now. It's loads of fun. I'm looking at getting a klx300 for myself. Problem Is there's almost no trails in my area. Northern Cincinnati. There's a couple of spots, but they're illegal to ride. Luckily, I'm close to Kentucky and all the trails out there but it's definitely a weekend trip distance. Which is though to do more than a few times a year when you've got young kids

Working on your own motorcycle is therapeutic. Take your time, buy a service manual and some tools, and teach yourself something useful

7 months later...how has the spring been? Would you have gone heavier? Racetech & Eibach both recommend a 7.6kg/mm rear spring, but it would have to be special ordered. Wondering if I can get away with 7.1 kg/mm, I am similar size to you.

Just bought a grey 25 model. Loving it so far! I live in Vermont and this thing is perfect for the back roads.

My 2022 klx 300r has been through hell, always been reliable aside from when It gets hot (it shuts off at idle). Only downside I find is the bike is extremely heavy!

Dude, im from Logan WV, and there's much better places to ride than those trails. Check out kelly mountain, kelly holler. Come in from the rum creek side, you can ride forever with no problems.

I went there one year it rained the going to west va and all the time we were there and all the way home but had a blast, couldn’t get up some of the mountains but we had fun

Saying offroad dualsport is like saying hamburger sandwich! Sweet ride, but some of those trails are better suited for sxs's than dualsports. The Perilli Scorpion X/C is a good street legal dual sport fromt tire also. I currently run the same set up as you on my DRZ, but I have previously run the Scorpion on the front also.

Great video! My daughter and her BF go to the Hatfield McCoy trails with about 5 other couples and they rent cabins cheap. They stay and ride for 3-4 days.

Love it! I got my first dualsport yesterday. 2002 Kawasaki KLR 250 and I'm loving it so far. I went quading at HMT in may and drove 150 miles. I love the place and will be returning.

One little question since i'm new to enduro and trail riding: my Beta is sitting on Pirelli XC hards but since I have to travel to the trails the damn thing feels unsafe on the road and after 700km the rear tyre is already shot. Would the MT 21 tires offer a bit better longevity and perhaps road stability according to your experience? Since i'm a noob i don't need high performance dedicated tires but given the kind of trails I visit I still need to climb so rocky sections, loose gravel and muddy sections. Thanks!

Man I think I want the D/S I’ve been eying up the Klx300R now and they have a killer deal for the D/S at my local Kawasaki shop $5399 for left over 2024 model… I’ve been watching your videos it seems like it can handle the woods just fine.

Like tjis guy I was tired of trucking on a Harley and having to pass up all those dirt roads calling me to explore. The most enjoyable bike I ever had was ct110 back in the 80s I put thousands of miles on that little mule exploring trails and as a around town runner. I am. Going to get one of these in The spring!

Always scary, it can make for a bad ride but also that oil going all over your tire and brakes can be dangerous.
