Funny how this popped in my recommendations just when I decide to ditch debian from my system =))) Can't do anything with the normal user. Everything installed with sudo is locked under it, I can't even open hexchat or vivaldi =))) Who ever designed it that way must have been on shrooms. Anyway, I do enjoy your videos. I'd love to see more complex, advanced stuff too :D
Jay why not have 1 window run htop , then next window run cmatrix ?
totally free course , what a champ you are , thank you!!
Thanks Jay , great video for getting started
Hello, someone knows which is the absolute path of a partition? Is the mnt point or the block device?
ma' man
Using the firewall coming with proxmox as a permiter firewall snd attach the host direcly to the wan?
19:31 chrome? ewww no thanks!
Thanks for another great one
In my experience 24.04 is screwed. The new installer has severe problems with partitioning. I never got it to share a drive properly. It always tried to wipe the partition table and convert the drive to ZFS. Mint is running perfectly however.
Instructions unclear, accidentally installed gentoo
Hello Beautiful People.I have a Linux laptop and a windows computer. I want to buy a physical usb drive, for different files, common to both systems. How to choose the type of formatting for a physical usb drive so that it can be seen in two systems (write, read). ExFat, NTFS, others ? Good day.
Great video. Thank you:-)
Is the video conference just using an image background or is the desktop environment real and the video conference happening in the terminal?

Seria legal ,PLAYONLINUX , tambem.. Os programas nativos , linux instalam bem... Substitui bem o Windows, ou Mac... Eu gosto...TUDO SEM PAGAR , E GASTAR DINHEIRO...KKK
I'm glad I found this video. I just installed Debian on a new computer. My aspect ration was set to 4:3 even though I have a 16:9 monitor. It turns out I just needed to install the Nvidia drivers.
is there any performance penalty for running programs inside of Distrobox?
Thank you Jay.
Hi Jay, I just bought your Udemy course.
SUPER Super anuation.. AKA retirerment accounts
People actually fell for the Nigerian scam..... I am genuinely surprised because you can smell the bull brown stuff from a mile away... sad :(
Awesome
I would love to see a video on joining Ubuntu desktop to Active Directory. Maybe I'll just try it myself and see how it goes, lol.
Here's where conspiracy ideas develop. Could the deletion be intentional to cover a data breach where U.S. law wouldn't pertain to a foreign entity,
Downvoted because he just wants us to see his more videos. Why not explain things in 1 sentence or 2 instead of saying go to this link. Unsubscribed!
Colocation of your own servers is the best option.

I really appreciate your efforts. Thank You!
I love youâr voice it makes my anexiety go away (:
So true about certifications. I mean, exams in general in education. They expect you to memorise things as if you couldn't look it up with some research, even before the internet, you could just go to the library.
Glad I could just search up this video and refresh my memory on what the output of `ls -l` is . Totally forgot what each symbol stood for.
Top tier content. I learned how to use VMs from you thanks.
I would like to migrate to Linux because Windows 11 increasingly shows advertisements and "spies" in the background. The biggest problem for us laypeople is understanding what will still work and how everything will function, which makes me hesitate. I must say, though, that I dislike Windows 11 more and more every month.
a nice video, thanks. a quick question I always feel confused : what is the main difference between the VM clone and the PBS restore to a new VM?
Fedora Workstation -1 version has been the most stable experience I've had in my 15 years of Gnu/Linux use (including Debian, where the stability claim has been wrong every time I've used it long term). I wish Fedora would add an option to always stay one version behind (without me having to just ignore the prompts to update).
Google said fedora has good nvidia driver support
I like your beard omg
thank you!!
thank you!
thank you!!
I am confused, in a older video about Proxmox you said to not use the No-Subscription repository and now you say to use it? I wonder if these updates can create bugs?
for users with NVIDIA esp. with CUDA, plz do not upgrade to 40 now. Cuda doesn't support gcc-14 so far. they took a year from gcc-12 to gcc-13. so maybe next year
The best Debian are... Q4OS. đ
How can I make this in Ubuntu
Thank you for explaining what each of the flags mean in commands. So many Linux tutorials don't do that, and it drives me crazy.
