Getting a golden shepherd in 3 days will be interesting to see what personality he has and if he is a mix of both or takes after one or the other. He is black and looks like a golden retriever puppy very cute fluffy floppy ears and hard to see any Shepard in him at all. I’ve had a golden shepherd before who was also black but with the tan of the German shepherd on her leg feather fluff and big floofy tail. She was very clearly a golden retriever cross with a German shepherd in her looks she was very intelligent intuitive protective but also gentle with all living beings even hedgehogs and kittens and rabbits but she was a barker when she got excited the German shepherd high pitch excited bark was sooooo annoying it was very hard to stop her barking once she was amped up. She barked continuously while playing also while other dogs played she barked if she wanted to come in the door or go out and continuously in the car when going for a walk also if the leash came out the bark came out it was her one problem behaviour that I just never could stop it seemed like excited barking was possibly her most favourite activity in the world she would even bark bark bark while swimming and with a ball in her mouth. To tell us when someone was at the door a low single bark was her way and she wasn’t much of alert barker a growl meant something was very wrong and I only heard her growl once in her life I think. Very intelligent highly trainable instinctively gentle with children elderly and small animals was a fantastic mum to a puppy my Flatmate got later. I never saw aggression with other dogs but she would tell young dogs off for jumping biting and things like that that were none of her business she would run over to strangers with a young dog jumping on them and tell it off then walk off it was like she thought her job in life was to protect all humans from puppy’s or to teach all puppies how to behave respectfully with humans. She passed away of hemangiosacoms at 11 Rest In Peace beautiful girl

Elsie is 13 weeks today. We just love hanging out together and are looking forward to lots of exciting adventures together eg, Forrest walks, beach fun and country strolls. 💕

My Geordi brings the garden inside. He’s now our gardener. He loves chewing sticks. He’s getting better at walks and not always wanting to stop and smell every tree. He’s so big for a 9 month old.

We have a 9 month old puppy called Geordi. His older ‘brother’ Garrus is getting used to him. We’re looking forward to take them both on a car trip. Great ideas here. 👏🇦🇺

Huskies are a riot. They just require a good amount of training and lots of exercise because they have tons of energy. Also you need to know about husky antics (and there are a lot)before you get one.

I’ve had three goldens , a golden doodle and a Pitbull terrier. They are all wonderful but goldens we’re definitely easiest.

I find it funny when pit bulls are villainized instead of the owners that abuse them into aggressive behavior, or improperly socialize them because they’re scared of a stereotype for all pit bulls to be killing machines. Every dog is dangerous, the catalyst for aggression is how you treat it.

Our golden has horrible separation anxiety! I feel so bad for him because he gets so upset and whines when we get home. A video would be great!!!!

Most dogs aren't naturally afraid of these things. It's just when the owners start acting like idiots that dogs think there's something wrong and get wrong ideas. Our goldi didn't trust the vacuum at first but we ignored it. 5 min later she tried to play with it.

We have had alot of different types of dogs. Yes Golden Retrievers are awesome, but Germans and Pitbulls are just as great! In my opinion!

Golden retrievers are simply beyond wonderful! We've had several of them and the worst thing about them is they don't live long enough...

Can’t really trust this video. Why not show us how to train our golden retriever puppy when it’s snowing and below freezing and all they want to do is roll around and play in the snow and refuses to use the bathroom? Or when it’s pouring rain outside and they want to roll in the grass and get wet and refuses to poop? All puppy training videos that i watched are always sunny, nice weather.

We have a golden girl of 11 months. I wouldn't bet my last dollar that she won't bite a stranger if need be. That dog's as sweet as can be with a smile that can melt hearts, but she's protective of my girlfriend and I. Couple of weeks ago I can home in the middle of the night while my gf was asleep and our little goldi barked and growled when she heard someone at the door.

My girl Sandy lived to be 16! She was an amazing dog! Always happy to, would greet me at the door with whatever she could find and let out the cutest howls and growls, never had to use a leash for our walks either, she would literally stop and wait for me to catch up if she got to far ahead. One of the funniest things about her was that she hated water 🤣 a golden that hates water?! I didn’t raise her from a pup but from the time she was 9 until she passed. I got to have 7 amazing years with that girl, she’s been gone for a long time now and I still think about her almost every day.
