Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. Even though they are one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs, there are quite a few challenges that every new parent goes through. So I decided to share all the advice and tips for raising a Golden Retriever.
Thx again for this informative vid. Our Golden Garrus loves hide and seek with treats. Heâs so great at sniffing out the hidden places.

I have a golden retriever
He has a itching problem
Can you please tell me what can I do
Talk to your vet
We talk so many time
Doctor give us medicine name is cotton when I give this medicine to my dog he drinks loss of water
Good vet is best person for this question bro, you should be too, you should be Knowing stuff like this when being pet parent, pls check with doctor they'll definitely know reason and listen to their advice
Check for ticks/fleas, main reason i suspect and a dangerous one, get proper treatment for it, there are lots of ticks in my surroundings, but I gave 1 tablet subscribed by my doc, 6-8 months not a single third party touches my dog
Goldens donât need a bunch of grains and veggies they arenât people. The two big things are protein and calcium. If you think about wolves they arenât going into farmers fields to eat the lettuce. Any grains or veggies come from the animals they eat. Pet food companies like to promote grains and veggies and fruit as cheap fillers for the dog food to keep costs down.
Dogs have genes for starch and glucose digestion that wolves don't have.
Yes, it is cheaper (and better for the planet and for exploited animals) to produce dog food that includes grains and veggies rather than it being 100% meat, but dogs are omnivores whether you like it or not.
Iâm not trying to say they donât need it at all. Even those who prepare their own dog food from scratch include veggies and fruits. The problem is the percentages of the food it is still very low compared to what you and I would eat. If you think these companies arenât trying to use more grains, veggies, and fruit than necessary as a cost saving measure I donât know what to tell you.
We are doubtful ours is Golden retriever or a mix we have a 1 year old female puppy, but her hair grows only to a medium length unlike the ones shown in pictures or videos. We grow her outside of our home, could this be a reason for shorter hair ? Someone please advise.
