Being a Golden Retriever Owner I can tell that it's not as easy as it seems to raise a Goldie. Even though they are one of the most intelligent and gentle dogs, there are quite a few challenges that every new parent goes through. So I decided to share all the advice and tips for raising a Golden Retriever.
That's why Goldens are called Retrievers they love catching balls, playing and having fun teasing me LOLOL Over the last 22 years I have had two beautiful Golden Retrievers. They are so awesome, loving and very intelligent. There came a time when they outguessed my next move blew my mind LOL They always have their eye's focused on mama I can't get away with anything. They are such clowns and so very very smart and most of all they always have a smile on their face. They always want to please people and are so gentle when they pick up their toys OR my "slippers" which I finally had to get them to bring them back, they did eventually. lolol. So they don't just go after balls. God Bless
My Golden could care less about chasing balls. He does like to bring me things though. His hearing is really really good. Nothing gets past him.
My Goldie is so alert everytime I open food bags of food containers.. in an instant. Goldie is already in front watching the food.. Goldie is like begging eyes so I gave him the food.. but the sad thing is... Goldie eats much of the food before I even get a bite.. 🤔
So next time I open food containers, I have to hide away from goldie

We have derby chickens tied at home. My dad's cockfighting pets.. it was our first time to have a golden puppy around 5months.. the puppy pulled off the head of the chicken and handed it to us.. I thought it was a ball.. but the ball has a beak.. it was then I realized it was the head of the chicken 😂😂😂. Oh no! My dad was so crazy mad that his chicken died.. the chicken body still intact.. but our Goldie cut off the chicken head.. 😂😂 I tried explaining to dad that out puppy is a fowl retriever.. from then on, my dad puts the chickens in the dog cage, while our puppy is let loose 😂😂😂

Well, i have a query regarding stray dogs. I have some stray dogs in my area and i have been feeding and cating them from their birth. Well...i went and made them ice cream (2 bananas,2 tbsps peanut butter and 6-7 tbsps of yogurt and 2 tbsp of honey). Well to my surprise..NONE of the stray dogs eat it...not even licked it. *PEANUT BUTTER WAS ALL NATURAL WITHOUT ANY ADDITIVES JUST PEANUTS AND YOGURT WAS HOMEMADE COW MILK.
I looked up on the internet but did not find any answer. Well after somedays i went and tried to feed them peanut butter just to know what repelled them from the ice cream. But NONE OF THE DOGS EVEN LICKED THE PEANUT BUTTER. They just sniffed it and went away. If anyone can help me...welcome.
