Constant denial of extra security, nobody doing anything while the crowd was shouting at the SS about a guy on the roof with a pewpew...He never should have made it on the roof in the first place if everyone was unbiased and doing their job. Not to mention every question given to the SS director being stonewalled and us being given hardly any information this long after the fact. There's only 2 explanations for that situation to even occur. There are either bad at their job and EVERYONE needs to be replaced (not just the director), or it was planned. 8 shots fired before they were neutralized. After everyone being aware he was there, and people even pointing him out to the security present, and Trump being hit. That is either incompetence, or corruption. There is no grey area there. Heck, there were extremists mad that he survived it to the point even Tenacious D made a joke about it in Canada and said "Don't miss Trump next time." And I garuntee there will be a next time. This election is more than just putting someone in office. It is the tipping point for what happens next. Either way, I don't see it being good and I have a horrible feeling about it. Because what happened implies that regardless of where you stand politically, they will try to take you out if you don't agree with them. That is harmful on all sides.

Opinions are like belly buttons. Everybody has one. I grew up in a high crime area and I knew all of the bad people, the smart ones and the stupid ones. None of them wanted to get shot. I've traveled armed for more than 50 years, openly since 1985 and I will never know how many times trouble has taken a detour rather than confront an old man with a gun. I am 87 years old and I know from personal experience what can happen to old people when they're perceived as an easy target. The gun on my side is my personal sign that says beware, this old dog still bites. Unarmed people are a much safer target. Recently, local law enforcement, being uninformed about the state statute that allows open carry with the proper permit, chose to challenge the validity of my decision. They firmly believed that open carry was against the law in the state of Rhode Island. I was threatened with arrest and possible jail time. Eventually the city solicitor was able to convince the Police Department that what I was doing was perfectly legal and that their opinion about my reason didn't matter. On the plus side, this was the first time since I started carrying openly 38 years ago that law enforcement even noticed me. Rhode Island has a population of over 1.094 million and only 3500 people were issued a permit to carry. That's less than half of 1%. Many people with permits don't know that they are allowed to open carry or are afraid of reprisal from the Police if they do. I have never seen another Rhode Islander open carrying. This, in my opinion, is a classic example of, “use it or lose it.” I will no longer argue the point. My reasons are justifiable and personal, and I no longer choose to share them or argue the validity of my actions. My reasons are none of your business. The only pertinent question is, “is it legal?” When asked “What are you afraid of?” My reply has always been, - Nothing.

DPMS uses Wilson bbls. Sub Moa bbls since they started assembling them 35 years ago. Your group size was your fault. I have been shooting ar15s since they were made available. Many times guys swear their rifle is inaccurate. I put it in a vice,and they all shot bug holes at 100 yards. The shooter has to be doing some bad techniques to make most any rifle inaccurate. Astetics make a firearm less repeatable,but put it in a vice and that eliminates shooter error. Once put in a vice at the range,they all shoot the same.
