I think the hawks are gonna say screw it, and just draft Alex Sarr. They made this mistake with the Luka pick, I don’t see it happening again.

Hawks would be dumb not to capitalize on their opportunity and getting one of these unicorns in Alex sarr.

I would say it’s pressure, one teams needs Sarr to be the center right now for Atlanta. That means a young player who’s hasn’t shown that nba physicality yet(I think he can with time) has to play the largest position for a teams whose expectations are to win. His mistakes will be magnified since they want to compete for a title. Risacher needs development but he won’t have the pressure Sarr would have and he can be a wing while working on his drive game. I Don’t think Atlanta is ready to make that run but they have no choice or blow it up. Washington on the other hand is a team who has no expectations to be anything but a rebuilding team. He can slowly develop and even be looked at the main foundation piece for them, he can even play Power Forward and a little Center because Washington doesn’t need him to be the Savior inside right away. Washington can sign a vet and platoon guys like Bagley III and Vukcevic play center so he has reasons. ATL maybe at some point have to do what Washington is doing now so he may see that as well.
