SROS I love you but what good would the Spurs taking two guards in all of your mocks make? We have Tre Jones who is a perfect bench PG. We don’t need 2 guards, though we do need a forward. Taking a forward at 4 and still having a guard ready for us at 8 is the best case scenario for the Spurs

Great mock… I think you should do trades in the next mock, you talk a lot about trading to get Clingan, I would love to see some trades (maybe the wizards, Memphis, and maybe even the hawks trading out of the first pick, just try to make it realistic🙏🏻)

Salaun will make a workout with The Blazzers, the Spurs, OKC and Detroit So, he will be drafted by one of those teams. Otherwise, he will really fall in the ranking.

But thus draft is weak, so his potential with his athleticism is one of the most valuable things in this draft.

The Rockets have 3 centers under contract and plenty of good wings, I don't think they trade the pick. If you can throw Dillon Brooks and the 3rd pick for Bridges, I might consider it, but I don't think the Nets go for that. Giving up a bunch of assets for a player who won't make that much of a difference is stupid. Bridges isn't gonna lead your team to a championship, and because of that, I think he's overrated. He was great in his role in PHX, but the Rockets need to figure out who their #1 and 2 option are before, getting a 3rd option type. Sometimes it looks like Sengun or Green, then you think they might trade one of them. If the Rockets are smart, they go with Sheppard. Just about every player in this draft is gonna need to develop other skills (most of them can't shoot), but Reed has a pretty good all around game...he's got elite shooting, and isn't really bad at anything...it's mostly his size that concerns everyone. He basically measures the same as Curry, and is bigger than Donovan Mitchell. What if Sheppard improves his game? His ball handling, his ability to create, and becomes more aggressive offensively? At worst, he's a good quality role player.
It would be interesting if the spurs went crazy and drafted DaRon Holmes II at 8. If he hits his ceiling he could be the perfect center next to Wemby if he goes back to the 4

@@yerrrrrrrr4567 he was playing the 4 a little at the end of the season and it looked a lot better.
I think it only looked bad in the beginning because zach collins is the 5 and Wemby was still figuring it out. If you get a competent 5 that can space, screen and defend, and allow Wemby to run in transition and roam on defense it could work.
While that is asking a lot out of a center, I think it would be better in the long run for his health and it could unlock his game offensively once he starts abusing mismatches on smaller players and slower bigs.
Excellent pick for the Kings! I've been so tired of the lazy mocks just taking a guard for the Kings instead of what's needed. I've been all over Tyler Smith for the Kings. Finally someone who gets it.
First mock I've seen with Knecht going to the Pistons, and that actually makes a ton of sense.
I actually hope for Sarr to go with the Wizards, I think Poole is a definite drawback, but on the other hand Avdija would help Sarr grow, Avdija's an amazing playmaker on the rare chances Poole lets go of the ball :) and Avdija works amazingly well with bigs from the type of Sarr. Hope for Sarr he gets to play with Avdija

Ha I have interesting trade idea it a three team tread between the spurs cavs and hawks where spurs would get garland , Cavs would get Murray and Onyeka Okongwu and hawks would get Jordan and one first back from the spurs in the Murray trade and then draft Zaccharie Risacher number 1

Man I wish my Pels would move up to get Tyler Smith. He is Trey Murphy lite... I see him as a quality backup 4/5 and situational starter depending on matchup. His shot is transferable to the League day 1. If he can learn Pels D and defend at an average rate, he will be a factor. I see he's starting to move up the draft boards. I have no issue picking him in the Top 10.
I think spurs picks will be Stephon Castle at 4 and Tidjane Salaun at 8. If spurs pick castle they probably do believe he can be there lead guard for the future, or an intermittent one with good positional versatility and trade value at worst. I personally am not a fan of dillingham in SA because I think he's a little too ball dominant and may stunt wembys development (a little).
I really hope the nuggets draft Kevin Mccullar. I think he’s an upgraded Christian Braun all around.
