I think it is a hard to vacate a title now with the CFP being in control. I think it would be strange to do since they let Michigan in even with those accusations. In 2021 I do not believe Stallions was even on staff. However, 2022 could be in question.

Isn't there some risk of the NCAA essentially regretting those prior examples? These past examples relating to improper benefits (tattoogate, Reggie Bush) don't look good in today's era of NIL. Even the academic fraud at UNC starts to take on a different cast now that the players are essentially employees. My concern is that these precedents have been discredited by NIL etc. and will leave them uncomfortable relying on them.

Has Izzo ever been this big? Around 6'7" we have Kohler, Normand, and Fiedler. At 7' we have Booker, Cooper and Symone. I mean aside from Symone, who could get 5-10 minutes, all our bigs should be playing some real minutes. So it's not like we have a bunch of Cherrys on the bench. Along with a pretty loaded guard room with Aiden, Fears and Trae coming back and Kur Teng/Richardson coming in. Not sure how Richardson will play, but dude plays big in his highlights. Like Coop said this team is very balanced.

What Mike Ilitch did for Sergei Fedorov in getting him to Detroit was remarkable. I certainly don't know much of how it all unfolded, but it was very risky for all involved. Most notably, Nick Polano. Mike Ilitch had offered Sergei a very fair deal to stay in Detroit and retire a Wing. Being snubbed by Sergei after what they did for him, in my opinion, was a knife in the back and I believe the decision was made right then, that they were done with Fedorov. He was a hell of a player, an exciting player to watch, but I don't think his jersey will ever get retired.

There's been enough time. I understand why they were mad at him but they seem to be at least a little over it having him back when he got into the HOF. Other guys were taking less money to be here and he turned down a 5 year 50mil deal. I never heard he came back and said he would stay. Maybe that's true I have no idea but in reality I don't think he wanted to be here and that's his choice. He wanted out in 97-98 so I'm not shocked he left in 2003. I'm not sure if it was ego and wanting to be "the guy" which he would never be here. I'm have to assume he regrets it. He only broke 50 points in 04 and never again. It worked out for Detroit as their next 5 seasons were phenomenal. I think his numbers goes up eventually but kinda feel 13 and 40 go up first. Similar point totals with the team and never left. Not saying they are better than him or anything but I can see it.
