Thank You. I am 78 and feel as strong now as I did in my 40’s and 50’s …… and I have strong arm muscles. The Orthopedic Group did a repeat DEXA and I was shocked when told my osteopenia is now osteoporosis. They wanted to give me prolia the same day!! My dad and mother were healthy until 94 and 102. I do not want to go on medication and told them I needed to research prolia and a holistic alternative. Over a year ago I made major changes to hopefully build stronger bones…..I faithfully take supplements…… I faithfully follow a plant based diet supplemented with limited fish, chicken, eggs. I jog and bike 4-5 times a week. Thank you. I am going to download your book…. Hoping to turn this around!

Dr. Doug because of this video I purchased Dr. Morley's book and started supplementing copper 2mg twice a day (4 mg total) and realized after 3 days that I have so much energy and I got stronger like never before. All my 58 years of life I was told by doctors I am anemic and because of copper supplemention I know I wasn't iron defficient but COPPER. What a shame I was supplementing with Iron yet it was not metabolized because I didn't have enough copper in my body. Thanks to you I was able to troubleshoot my life problem. I feel so strong it's unbelievable. I used to drag my feet while eating pound of steak every day and I couldn't understand what's wrong with me. I am carniovore and now with supplemetning copper I feel like I was given second chance at life. I can do 10 times more of home chores than I used to. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART ❤❤❤❤

I am taking it one time a week . *I either have bursitis or gluteus Medius tendinopathy /Tear ( Right Hip )* . Wobble Gait or more like Trendelenburg Gait (Right Hip Weak) . I had a Xray taken and I'm looking to found out the outcome tomorrow, and If we don't see anything on that, I'll have an MRI taken. My point is I need to figure out what medicine is good for the bones. I already exercise daily, Diet: Organic, No Soda or Sugary drinks . I am sorry, If I'm not explaining clearly. The side effect that I mainly got from it was Facial flushing. Boron is meant to help raise oestrogen & testosterone levels. I’ve been taking 5mg per day but both my testosterone & oestrogen are still low. I’m 40 .

I have been taking Move Free which contains 5 mg of boron. Starting taking this years ago when my knees started to bother me. That was years before my dexa showed osteopenia -2.1 and spine -2.8 last month. I have now after watching and discovering Dr. Doug's channel whom I call the bone whisperer.... have added calcium with K2 and MK7, Vit D 3 3,000 mg and Algecal stronium to my regime. I have always been a walker 3 to 5 miles 5 days a week, and I have made sure to now include resistance exercises with bands and a weighted vest at times during my walks. I have told my primary care 2 weeks ago when she called with results from dexa and simply said "there is a prescription waiting for you at the pharmacy your dexa was not too good" I was surprised she did not even begin to mention all the side effects of the drug that I had to ask her "what did you prescribe?"...and she said "Fosamax". I told her no way right now because I am going to reverse this with the best supplements, diet, exercise and not a bisphosphonate type drug right out the door. Primary care was quiet and said "humm maybe we can let you try this and see what the dexa shows in 2 years".

I tried AlgaeCal for 2 months. It made my joints swell and painful in my hands where I have osteoarthritis. (The carnivore diet has made my osteoarthritis basically go away, unless I eat something that flares it up.) I removed the AlgaeCal from my diet for 1.5 weeks the swelling and pain went away. AlgaeCal says it doesn’t cause this, but not every supplement is for everybody. I currently take magnesium, vitamin D, K2. I will be adding boron to my supplements too. Make of this what you will, but, I started taking boron shortly after being diagnosed with very severe osteoporosis in January of 2023. (Spine -4.6.) Im January 2024, my spine was -3.9. I've since been told by a physician that DEXAs can't calculate scores for bones as bad as mine very well, and that there was no way my second score reflected that much improvement (about 14-15%) though he conceded it was a positive sign it wasn't worse. Just leaves me not knowing what to think. But I can also say that while 2023 was a brutal year that established pain in my back as a constant, I don't feel as fragile now. I'm still careful with twisting but last year it seemed the tiniest moves resulted in injury (at least some of which were fractures,) and this year, and this year most of the time, I just do what I want/need to do in a way I have not been able to do for...three years prior. At least some, if not most of this, is that I'm stronger. And I also pretty much take every supplement Dr Doug has ever said, "Might help, probably won't hurt you," that I can afford and a few he hasn't talked about yet. Probably wrecking my kidneys, (but the osteoporosis drugs might hurt them too, I hear,) but otherwise if there are ill effects, I haven't detected them, and when you go from running and doing functional exercise classes to struggling to walk/constant pain that no non-opioid drug can even touch, you do make some choices. Boron was my first one. Might help, probably won't hurt.

I had read about the benefits of boron on bones, that's one of the reason that I end my last meal of the day with 6 prunes for dessert.I figure it can't hurt. My multi has .5mg of boron and my magnesium supplement has .7mg. Along with a healthy diet I'm confident that I likely get enough of it. With other add-ons like milk basic protein, K2 as in both MK4 and MK7,....... coupled with good resistance and impact training, hopefully I see a positive shift in my BMD. 🤞

new subscriber.. thx for the video I was diagnosed with osteoporosis in 2022 when i was 56, I chose not to go on any drugs and to start supplements and started walking 10K steps a day, improve my diet.. since covid I was sitting for 10 hours a day for work which I believe was a major cause of early osteoporosis .. after I was diagnosed I bought a stand up desk also. after the 2nd year the numbers from dexa dropped or stayed the same slightly, my doc still wanted to prescribe the drugs but I wanted to wait one more year and increased my walking and supplements (Mediterranean Balance) I was so happy bc my dexa improved, my one score actually went into osteopenia.. but when I had my appointment my doc said "eh not really it's basically the same" I was so disappointed I wanted to cry.. she said it was based off statistical data, I'm not really sure what she meant. but to me the report showed an improvement, it even said "'improved" so I refused the drugs. now I won't be approved for another dexa for 2 years bc I'm not taking the drugs. my question is how soon will you show an improvement after I made these changes? was my improved dexa a fluke, was it not really improved? I'm, not on any hormone replacement bc I don't trust those either, my mother in aw developed breast cancer from them. although I've seen new studies that say those studies were debunked . it's so hard to believe anything you hear anymore. any advice would be so appreciated.

Very interesting. I’ve recently added Brazil nuts and prunes to my healthy diet specifically for boron to support my goal of improving recent progression from osteopenia to osteoporosis. Concern about getting too much selenium has me limiting each of these to only a very few per day. Any thoughts?

My functional endocrine doctor told me 2 Brazil nuts per day to support thyroid. More is not better.

Nobody knows how much selenium is in the Brazil nuts you are eating. Maybe almost none, maybe excessive amounts. I think they are a bad idea.

Have you looked at Dr.Tan’s vitamin E GG? It’s expensive and if like your opinion.

Thank you Dr Doug! You're right on point of trying to put supplementation all together. So, here's a question on products. Have you looked into sea moss, weeds or grasses? I had a friend tell me the other night that she takes sea moss. 🤷‍♀️

I was hoping you would cover this suppliment. Healing from broken collarbone and the doctor had me stretch my arm above my head against a wall and have been in a lot of pain since. People have said take Boron and I did read one study that said boron heals bones much much faster.
