Chinese football is hopeless, just don’t know why, I gave up long time ago, used to have a notification for Chinese team, now I gave up. It’s unbelievable we cannot nurture nor can we find 11 decent players out of 1.4 billion people, too much corruption in CFA. Chinese men are too spoilt too many me and me only attitude. I don’t see any Chinese players that get their head down and train hard, a bit of success and it goes to their head. Chinese women are much better, traditionally they are hard workers.

I would be more optimistic, largely because of my Chinese ancestry (I am Peruvian by the way). Indonesia is a national team built by thugs. At least Peru played in five World Cup and competed in Copa America by their own, whereas Indonesia has played a thuggish form of football for years. They reinforced it with foreign players though, but they have little value to add in outside keep playing like gangsters. Bahrain is a strong team, but it is also deeply emotional. Bahrain is good when playing against formidable teams but for some reasons they can also flop. If China can exploit these teams' weaknesses, then being in the playoffs is not a bad wish.

Indonesia is full of overrated mercenaries and nothing more than that. Uzbekistan used 99% domestically trained players and still we ate Indonesia 2-0. The Indonesians could complain to referee many times they want, but what a pathetic team they are.

To be frank, China's chance relies heavily on how they play against Bahrain and Indonesia. Indonesia's overuse of naturalised players will give them some edge, but I am sure Indonesia won't even have a chance to qualify directly, and even playoffs seem too difficult for them. Bahrain is fascinating, as it is not as skilful as Oman or Qatar, but it is a physical team and tend to follow a physical football approach. Saudi Arabia is in a transition, and it is not helped by Mancini's ongoing feuds with some players. While Saudi Arabia is clearly too formidable for Indonesia, Bahrain and China, their vulnerability made them more likely to lose important games. AFC's corruption by keeping Japan and Australia in a similar group made me sad, but that's what would happen when corruption is in control.
