    Dr Boyle, can LDN cause excessive sleepiness? I am trying to figure out if that could be the cause of my sleepiness (started sleeping 8-9 hours and some days feel like crashing in day time again). The timing when it started leads me to think if can be from LDN. I tiltrated to 4 mg, then went down to 3 mg but still sleep a lot. Can it be that I need a lowers doze? Or may be my body does not need it at all?

    Thank you Dr Boyle! I'm recently started taking LDN for Chronic Fatigue. I also have endometriosis and very bad period pain/PMS and so I was pleasantly surprised to come across your presentation. I have a question about dosage. My rheumatologist (& lots of doctors/people on CZcams) seem to experiment with the dosage and some find their 'sweet spot,' lower than 4.5mg. Say for example LDN helps my CF symptoms at 2mg per day, do you think this could still help the PMS and Endo? Some people say that if they go over their 'sweet spot,' for CF it can make their symptoms worse, so it's good not to go higher than where you find symptom relief. Thanks again

    • @PhilBoyle
      @PhilBoyle Před 2 lety

      I agree - aim for the dose that balances your endorphins. Liquid LDN is best for this to adjust the dose between 1mg up to 4.5mg - I don't recommend going above 4.5mg.

      Yes it is possible to restore ovulation for about 50% with your clinical picture. Your doctor needs to prescribe ethinyl estradiol 20 mcg daily to down-regulate FSH and try and restore ovulation - If you do not start ovulating within 4 cycles, natural conception with your own eggs is then unlikely. see pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10920090/
