I think something not mentioned here that has more nuance to it than it seems is the PROPER lubricating of the guide pins. More is not better, often causing issues with either suck down, where the caliper can't fully release, or having having air trapped inside the guide pin channel which also effects brake operation.

Bad engine design

The redesigned Tundra is a piece of junk. I’d take the 5.7 in the previous gen any day.

The manufacturing dates they have end on Feb 23. Mine says built Aug 23. Fingers crossed, I dunno what I would do if it happened to me.

Shavings in the engine...gotcha. I guess the pre 2025 Camry's, the Tacoma front disconnect and back differential, recent Toyota transmissions...(big list) all have shavings too.

Do you recommend making the change for a 2024 Toyota Tundra or a 2024 Tacoma?

The video is fake. It's really smart to keep a generator in your trunk if your using an electric vehicle. That being said, unless you make heavy modifications you can only power the car battery with the generator when the vehicle is off. Best to run the generator when your in the store or whatever.
