Nice old school machine. My neighbor has an old Farmall with the steel wheels and it is still operational. It was his grandfather's and was passed to his dad and then to him. He would have passed it down to his son but the son choose not to go into farming ranching.

Love these old Johns. I had a buddy whose grandad used an A on the farm mostly to rake hay. Every year he'd work on it and take it to the tractor pull at the county fair. They called his tractor "Poppin' John" because when he pulled it, the RPM was high enough it would start popping flames and backfiring thru the exhaust. He always did well, then come Monday morning he'd de-tune it and it went back to work on the farm. Great memories!

Had one of those years ago. Mine had a shelf on it that could hold 6-10 corncobs at a time. I hooked a electric motor to it so I didn’t have to turn it by hand, sure made things easier.
