Neither is worth the price. Since we never got ti GPUs versions, people are paying premium prices for 1 year old chips. CPUs are insignificant in the performance arena, because you could get a laptop I3 and still play AAA on ultra with a 4090. Worst model year since 2018

Acer has locked undervolting even in unlocked Core i9 HX processors. It's locked in CPU microcodes and can't be unlocked. Buyers be aware!!!!

Ok Leute, eure Website ist mit Abstand die beste im Bezug auf Notebook Test, hier fehlt mir allerdings ein sauberer Lüfter Vergleich. Es ist ein Creator NB und Ihr zeigt Cyberpunk - interessiert nicht die Bohne. Ich will doch Anhang realen Tests sehen wie das NB in LR, PS oder Premiere/Davinci performt. Könnt ihr dazu eine Aussage treffen? Ich würde das Ding echt gerne haben, kann aber die Lüfter für meinen usecase überhaupt nicht einschätzen .

With all the upcoming new architecture regarding AI it becomes for simpel users like me more and more intransparent, which Notebook to buy. I would see my use-cases more in direction of „content creation“. Which means higher performance at CPU and GPU plus expandable RAM for sure. Local storage above 1TB is necessary. Now with the new NPU I am quite confused, how to tread them in my new notebook evaluation… Really everything becomes more and more complex 😢

What a stupid design at this version with just ONE sustainable USB (A) port, the other ONE USB-C lives not long enough because of the desolate sensitive construction... 🙄 And the keyboard keys are breaking at too much consumers while a normal, non agressive usage. And RMA companies want 300€ for the complete keyboard with guilt shifting to the consumer. What a fraud... like with the Intel 13, 14th gen.

I like the main USB in rear. I can charge all my other devices with that cable. 😊

I bought this laptop a few weeks a go (4060, 32gb rab, 1tb storage, mini led). I use it mainly for video watching/recording/light video editing and its been great doing all of that! I escaped my 2020 era yoga into 2024, and I was ready to use a computer that could grow with my current interests/hobbies! I also love the touchscreen! I know a lot of people don't care about it at all, or would rather have a yoga that can actually enter tablet mode, but I really do enjoy tapping on the screen sometimes. It's hard to find affordable, high powered laptops with this as a feature honestly. If you're used to light laptops this one is a bit heavy (to me). The fans feel loud in person, but they dont whine. There's no fingerprint login unfortunately, so the only way for quick login is to have your webcam on for face scanning. Oh and theres an AI button that replaced right control. Thats just bad straight up. I ordered this from lenovo and its not currently on site. If the price is right for you & they offer my model or better, I'd go for it. Unless you want a laptop that is hyperfocused on art OR gaming OR writing, this one can fit all of those niches in a 7.5/10 way

For me, the analog Sticks belongs horizontally aranged, for long time gaming with a heavy weight handheld.

My 7th gen Intel core laptop was literally a oven running hot, noisy and with very little battery backup.

4:10 So, you really can't use the miniLED local dimming in SDR? I don't know why Windows laptop manufacturers can't get this right. It is SO important! Vast majority of content out there is still in SDR! SDR content on my iPad 12.9 with miniLED or LG OLED TV looks miles better than low-contrast displays for very obvious reasons. And they both do it "right" easily. It can't possibly be that complicated!

It's worth mentioning that this laptop still has a bad HDMI, which is HDMI 2.1 TMDS, not a normal one, which is 4k/60Hz, not 4k/120Hz, and max at FHD/240Hz, not 1440p/240Hz

Numpads are a complete deal-breaker for me now. I tried the Galaxy Book3 Pro 16-inch, and it isn't very good. I am from an older generation, so teaching an old dog new tricks is probably the main reason. However, if you do not need a numpad, it is really a terrible choice. Apple got it right there with the spacious keyboard and centred trackpad. Apart from that, I am not a fan of Lenovo QC based on my sad experience, but that was a while back; maybe they have improved. Also, I would be wary of buying any Core Ultra as it is a new design, and I suspect the next generation will be more refined and have much better battery life. So easy pass...

I would expect some comparison with the ASUS Zephyrus G16, because these two are the best laptops in this category with different pros and cons: Compared to G16, the Yoga Pro 9i has - less screen flex but slightly worse build quality, - a brighter and higher-resolution screen but less vivid colors, - a numpad with properly located Home/End/PgUp/PgDwn keys but an off-centered keyboard and touchpad. But I would like to see how it compares in other aspects, like fan noise during light tasks and speakers.
