Thanos was trying to help. He had a plan but the way he did it was wrong. Arishem told the Eternals not to intefere in human conflicts so that's why Thanos ended up fighting with the Avengers and the Eternals didn't try to stop him too.

So what I understood from this movie is that,Tiamut is actually about to born,but Thanos's Snap impacted him from awaken till Bruce do the blip stuff,and brings all the people back and surely Tiamut get his time to be born....

Now that I think about it, Thanos really spared Earth by wiping out half it's population (and the universe). The emergence would've had to wait a couple more thousand years. Arishem was an even bigger threat to Earth than Thanos ever was.

1. let me say this (ikaris) soilder serving in military ur commander(ajak) tell u about a mission and ask u to keep it as a secret between us, so u r automatically pushed to a point to lie to other fellow soilders(eternals). 2. years latter she asked everyone to go and live a life for yourself, ikaris and sersi lived happily as couple for certain amount of years. but in deep down u know what is ur mission is, because of that u have to lie to ur loved one (sersi and she love this planet so much) and u can't tell her the truth because u promised ur commander(ajak) that u r not gone tell anyone about the mission, which is killing u inside because if u choose to tell ur wife u r betraying ur commander and if don't tell her the truth u r betraying ur wife (the only thing u love the most in the world). he can't do both because so he decided to leave her (sacrifices his love for the mission). and isolated himself from rest of the world to make sure he do not get distracted. 3.and after all the sacrifices u have made and u came back and expecting u r commander(ajak) to ready for the final stages of the mission but instead ur commander asking u we should stop the mission which drove any one crazy and he felt betrayed by the commander (ajak) which pushes u to the point to kill her so that the mission can go on schedule and ur are feeling guilty for killing ur commander as well (which he did). 4.if she(ajak) told everyone about their mission sure ikaris lived a happy live with sersi and who knows he would have loved this world and humans like seris did, whether they save the planet at the end or not it doesn't matter and ikaris never pushed to a situation to betray his family. 5. and at the end to cut loose from everything (killing ur commander and betraying ur family and ur wife and u couldn't complete ur mission) u committed sucide. 6.ajak is the starting point for everything. ajak is the reason ikaris turn against his own family which he indeed loved everybody including (ajak). 7.And still i don't understand that y ikaris didn't tell any one that ajak is the reason behind his actions. 8.i hope in the next movie ajak comes and tell sersi about everything that went with herself and ikaris and make sure they end up together. that is the best redemption for what she done to both of them. they both truly loved each other and deserve to be together. 9.if ur defending ajak i have no problem with that, this is my opinion.

In the comics they are often resurrected with a cloned body and the last stored memory in their back up. It's not a coincidence Arishem stored all their memories in the forge. They all will revive.
