If I am a retiree, I would go for a nice Seaview apartment at Danga Bay for a lower price of around 6xxk for 2 bedroom 2 bathroom, that's me of course.

Yup we do get very hot days about three weeks a year plus we don’t take house insulation very seriously do we lol

I compared Country Garden Danga Bay with R&F Princess Cove. R&F is abt 50% higher in price and the building density is quite high. Personally i prefer CGDB.
PC specifically targeting Msians/Sporeans who are doing daily or regular commute. Hence it can command a premium. Other than that, it is too high in density, worse than the density of HBDs of S'pore. Do factor this in in case anyone is considering PC.

Research R&F developer and don't fall for their trap. I heard the 2nd phase is only cash buy, that's a real red flag as it indicates something...you know what I mean. Research properly before buying JB properties.

Thanks for sharing! It was such a coincidence that I was in JB recently and checked out Twin Galaxy and Setia Sky 88! One DK unit at Galaxy is asking for RM 900+k, so u definitely got a superb deal. I really like the area (had a foot massage and meal just across the road) and it is so convenient. Good stuff on the Reno and all the best!
We love the location, best massage is either right next door in the Trove Hotel (Ayu Borneo) or next to the New York Hotel (Thai something).

Yes, the foreigner state Levy is 2% of Sales Purchase Price or RM 20,000 whichever higher.

Great information and congrats. I did the same, invested in Johor property near RTS station (Bukit Chagar) and using it as weekend home for about 1.5 years now. Looking to move to JB for retirement. My lifestyle has improved a lot and the unit value increased by about 30%.

may I know how many percentage for signing the consent form with the Gorvenment ? One agent told me there is a 6% for resale unit in Johor.

We were recommended Johor Jaya area - there is a street full of furniture shops, also light fittings shops, but if you have the luxury of time, consider ordering, as a superhost mentioned, through Shopee or Lazada
