My best tip is find an alone target so others don’t hide and don’t give you a shot. My longest shot is 512m I just saw a dude sniping at me and my friend so I got frustrated and killed him first try

You can actually find the weapons without getting the Intel. If you know the location,& can get within 50 foot of it your teammates will let you know that there’s a weapons case and you can go open it up.

My longest shot was 517 meters. My average range is between 117 m and 120 m. (It has fluctuated some.)

This is great stuff, now i can make 3D map modles for work and for hobby lol. ive always wanted to get into arma map making as a hobby. Also if any communities looking for people to teach lmk. I did get hung up with the satellite png. that wouldn't load for me but besides that everything else was pretty solid.

I recently bought a pc before owning it I had little to no time on m&k left school around the time computers become a common thing. I have been on Xbox forever so my left-hand motor skills are awful finding it really difficult to get it to hit the buttons and if i move off wasd i lose them and have to look so I'm struggling bad. Just as bad my right hand was very Shakey on the mouse, but practice makes perfect right hand is better now and I'm slowly improving with my left might be good in like 6 months.

My only issue is messing up inputs and controlling recoil on siege

You forgot about Noise under custom to prevent gamma and brightness cheats Stops people from turning the gamma up on monitor to make it fair for everyone

this series really helped me start a map. Is it just me or are the assets a bit limited. Seems only one style of shop and few houses.

Also I don't know if you will even bother responding but im having an issue where none of the object such as houses that i put into the world, have any collisions with the player what so ever. The player just clips straight through them like they dont exist

FYI, the reason your height map ended up so "horrible" was because you made the terrain extremely small scale to what it would actually have been based on the size of the heightmap. The website you showed doesnt give you the actual area of the map, it just gives you the cross section size, so in reality you should've sized your terrain to 17km*17km which is 289sqr km, but instead you made it only 17 square km. This is what made the heightmap look so "extreme"

I just found out about the longest shot stat and got a little over 600 yesterday. I didn't know suppresors affect bullet travel, though. The guy was moving, so this would've made it a lot easier lol. Im tryna beat my record as a new side mission 😂

9:06 there is a mistake there. The map you exported from heightmap.skydark has a side length for 17km, while the map you make in Arma has an area of 17km² This will be the reason, why the island looks so bumpy at 18:45

Have you progressed this further I've come to a brick wall getting errors now....I'm sure there's a better way. Also I'm wondering if there a way one could use the already built in terrain and just edit the buildings and add remove rocks etc... what's your thoughts?
