Love this! Although I have a different take with their essences, it's super interesting to see your take. Kpop is the perfect place to look at different essences. I would love to hear your take on The Boyz. Personally I don't think all of them have ethereal essence, more so that it's their concept so they have been styled as such, and because they are all beautiful, and wearing the right make up, lit up a certain way, they can pull it off somehow. I think only Kai and Taehyun have ethereal, maybe Soobin. However after watching your video I am not sure anymore lol! I am not sure about classic for Kai because suits and classic style doesn't look that comfortable on him, I don't think he looks "formal" enough for classic, but I could be wrong. However I think he must have some dramatic essence, because he looks amazing with more dark rock and roll styles, high contrasts, and his features have that edge. And I disagree with Taehyun being romantic, I actually think Taehyun could have a little dramatic/natural essence in him, I don't think Taehyun can pull off the wavy/curly hair, flowy shirts of romantic style as well as leather jacket, slightly spiky or wet hair (which is more dramatic). Beomgyu I think may have some classic and or slight natural essence in him but I'm not too sure about this, and it's mostly based on his features rather than the style he pulls off best, and Yeonjun as you said in your comment has dramatic too, definitely. The rest I agree with you, especially on their dominant essence.

Wow, thank you for this video, it's so interesting. Kai being ethereal make so much sense fr! As for yeonjun i think he might have dramatic essence in him? He has such sharp eyes and pointy nose that gives him a model-esque look and strong aura, combined with his lush and rounded lips (romantic essence) makes him looks seductive & sharp at the same time

I think there is a spirit side to it too to make it to the top!

I 100% agree on Karina's beauty being out of this world. I was just starting following aespa for about 3 day ago. Already heard some of their songs months ago but never bother to know the members. When I first saw Karina, I immediately thought her face was AI rendered. For me, she is the most attractive Kpop idol.

I am not trying to be mean or anything but do u actually know what classic essence is ? classic essence is balanced yin and yang and Ningnig face is soo yin and Karina has alot of yang I don't think any of them have classic essence besides Winter.

If you are curious about kibbe's body types, this is the general consensus when it comes to the aespa members Karina: Soft Dramatic (used to be types as a Dramatic Classic but lately most agree on SD) Giselle: Soft Natural (closet to a pure N) Winter: Soft Classic Ningning: Soft Natural

i can see the racisim argument but then you have to ask yourself why is there never a kongolese artist on top of korean charts or a indian on top of spanish charts and that is not racisim its beacause if you hear words that are not in your language in a song you simply cant relate. im german and beside english songs there are not many foreign tracks that were in german charts, but when they do than they are there for month and month even years. Las Ketchup was 2 years running multiple times daily on german mtv. several french artists, spanish , bulgarian artists even russian artist but often these songs are ,, fun,, songs where you don´t need to understand whats´s going on. gangnam style was a funny beat and dance ( and to be honest a somewhat fat asian was something funny to look at in my opinion). i really like k-pop and i have nothing but respect for the artists, because i know the hard work and training but even for me the artificiality of those artists stage personalitys is hard accept when a ultra ,, confident,, boygroup member in interviews is so shy that he can´t even speak . plus this concept of aegyo and permanently touching each other is very strange an becomes even ironic when you look at how asian societies are really tread each other and adds another layer of fakeness western people disslike. And if u hear that the artists live together and are practically owned by companys it reinforces asian stereotyps that a single person has no worth and is replacable
