How We Brew | Sweet Blossom on HARIO V60
Hello Sweet Blossom
A lovely Ethiopian coffee from the Guji zone, produced by the smallholders of Odo Shakisso
A cup that is certainly fitting into what we call a Sweet Blossom coffee.
We are brewing our Signature Sweet Blossom with the classic HARIO V60 dripper this time.
Here's our brewing recipe and we hope you all enjoy this coffee as much as we do.
Brewing Ratio 58g/L
15g Dose | Total Water 255g
Grind Size 15 on EK43 (point to 7 o’clock)
Water temperature 90°C (194°F)

Will give this brew ratio and method a try, the Espro Bloom pour over I have looks to be similar to the Kalita Wave 185.
The portafilter lock feature is super useful, I remember the old days when we encounter wrist injuries with manually locking and unlocking during rush hours. Has the boiler and water/steam line gotten better? The older generations always had a flow consistency problem, especially after some 3+ hours continuous usage, and then have to compensate by adjusting everything else. Programmed milk steamer is a nice touch, but it may be better with human touch, especially for cafes with different kinds of milk/beverage base (every milk/beverage steams differently).

Finally get to try Hernandez Geisha!!! Definitely 1 of my top 3 choices of coffee bean! Flair 58 also gives it a unique texture as well, I will say it’s a MUST TRY!
