I watched different video and they was much more concerned with covering the cheese with cloth fully. And used wax to completely cover to prevent molding. Might be a humidity thing though. He seemed to be in a more humid climate. Black mold would be a problem. Here in TX we dry it in a day. 😆

I found a product on amazon "Buff Bar", shampoo bar made with bison tallow, olive oil, castor oil, coconut oil, natural essential oil, mica pigment, and lye. Its the only product I've found similar to your recipe. A bit expensive but gonna give it a try before making my own

Hello! I didn't watch the video, so i am not sure if the video answers this question already but I was hoping someone could help me... I was buying raw milk from a smaller farm store that sells several gallons a day in a plastic jug with a label and even though I don't know them personally, I felt pretty confident buying from them. However, they are a little far and I did find a local family farm that has raw milk but she gives it to me in half gallon mason jars and it doesn't seem like she filters it. There is usually dirt and other debris settled at the bottom. I have been trying to filter it with a nut bag, but I am kind of weary about this, would it be consider unclean/unsafe practices and maybe I should stop going there?? Thanks!

I have a Nutrimill and have been very pleased with it. Used it consistently for 5 years when we lived overseas and couldn't get a decent loaf of bread for less than $8. It still works wonderfully! We love grinding fresh cornmeal for cornbread :) I'm excited to have a smaller hand-crank to have out for smaller batches and for a just in case scenario. And, also excited for the option to grind oily things, too. (I love that we could have it out, it looks nice, and becomes a conversation piece... right along with my spinning wheels ;) )
