Nimbus crown halo. One’s aura. Perhaps a sixth sense in us can see these halos around people especially when under the influence of psychedelics which I think have heavily influenced religion & history for thousands of years. After the demise of the Ptolemaic Kingdom, Egypt became a province of the Roman Empire, but silver coinage struck by the Ptolemies still continued to circulate. The Ptolemaic silver coinage had mostly disappeared by the time of Emperor Nero (AD 54-68), probably melted down and restruck as Roman provincial coinage. Under Roman control, Egypt retained the closed monetary system, as it had been under Ptolemies. Roman denarii and aurei did not circulate in provincial Egypt.

They were accomplished in the service of King Eurystheus. The episodes were later connected by a continuous narrative. The Nemean Lion was a monster in Greek mythology that lived at Nemea. Eventually, it was killed by Heracles (Hercules). Because its golden fur was impervious to attack, it could not be killed with mortals' weapons. Its claws were sharper than mortals' swords and could destroy any strong armour. In Bibliotheca, Photius wrote that the dragon Ladon, who guarded the golden apples, was his brother

Mr Yund was born in Fort Hunter, May 1, 1855, and received his education in the public schools and in the old Amsterdam Academy. In 1875 he entered the clothing business with he continued until 1892, although when the present knit goods manufacturing for of Yund Kennedy and Yund was established in 1886 he became interested in it, and following his retirement from the clothing trade devoted almost his entire attention to this successful industrial project. He was one of the directors of the Montgomery County Trust company, a director of the Inman Manufacturing company and of the new Hamilton Country Club. He was a regular attendant at St. Joseph’s church,which was founded by his father , and he always had a keen interest in the activities of the church. Mr. Yund was a charter member of Amsterdam Lodge No. 101 B.P.O.E., and a past exalted ruler of the lodge and a member of the board of governors of the Antlers since the inception of that club. He was a member of the Board of Trade. One of the greatest pleasures of his life was in out of doors activities, and he was an ardent fisherman. He was a member of the Bourbonnais Hunting and Fishing Club of Quebec and one of its directors. Mr. Yund was a musician of considerable ability and for several years played with the old Thirteenth Brigade band of which he was one of the organizers. He was married in 1883 to Miss Theresa Kennedy of Amsterdam who survives him, together with two sons, Raymond J. and Walter C. both of Amsterdam, a daughter, Laura L., wife of Alfred E. Roche, of Troy; also two brothers, Theodore J. and Albert both of Amsterdam. Charles C. Yund, one of the pioneer knit goods manufacturer of Amsterdam, NY and senior member of the firm of Yund, Kennedy and Yund, died at his home in that city last week after an illness extending over several months. Mr. Yund ws 65 years old, had been connected with the busineess life of Amsterdam for the past 45 years, and for twenty-eight years was actively engaged in the manufacture of kniot goods. In 1875 he entered the retail clothing business and continued until 1892. When the firm of Yund, Kennedy and Yund was established in 1886, Mr. Yund became interested in the business but it was not until six years later that he disposed of his other interests and devoted almost his entire attention to the knit goods concern. Mr. Yund was a director of several concerns and was connected with many social and fraternal orgnaizations. He is survived by his widow, two sons and a daughter, and also two brothers, Theodore J. and Albert H. Yund, bith of Amsterdam

Probably the most rare & special piece of history or coin I’ve held/studied. Such a unique feeling to hold these old artifacts. It’s more than a hobby of collecting. One learns a lot. I’ve spent weeks researching one coin and sometimes find out new info months or years later. Always learning & growing.
