if you include varying tempo then I believe sdvx goes from 3bpm to 1080bpm if we're going consistent only then idk what the slowest is but the fastest I believe is 998 (mayhem) No idea about averages but I'm guessing it's noticeably higher than the other games

In this video, the author says “The funding has to come from somewhere.” That’s true-but anyone could have found real investors by showing the early crowdfunding achievements. But real investors demand timelines and exit plans when they don’t get paid back. Hopeful players don’t, or at least can’t hold the company responsible in the same way. So the game developers continue to promise much and deliver little-because they can.

I love how good of private server support this has here in USA. I'd love to see Marvelous reinstate official service. I'm lucky to have a few independent arcades near me that are on the private networks, but it would be even cooler to be on official networks and also be able to play online at major arcades like Round1.

Anyone was surprised by the most common song? I sure wasn't. AFAIK, Conflict is on over 40 games. For perspective, the second most common song (Pupa) is in half that many, IIRC.

For the bitrate thing, the bitrate is actually pretty good, but the player is absolute garbage. Just by copying the ogg files out and playing then on literally anything else they sound pretty good, but for some reason inside Arcaea they all sound awful. Maybe it's because of performance or latency reasons?

the koko city hero cab mentioned in the video did apply the mythos translation a while ago if anyone else in sydney plays wacca (I've literally only seen a single person other than myself play it actively).

Criminally underrated channel, this was my first video and it’s so goodly made, it’s fun having someone with the same music taste as you Also, funny thing, osu!laser supports custom game modes, so you can literally make it play like maimai if you want, literally! I remember there was a recreation of Rhythm Doctor/ADOFAI so good, the devs of it had to file DMCA because of how similar to the main game it was :) Also also, osu!laxer by default letting you download songs that are from “featured artists” aka people that signed the contract with a developer who’s main sexual attraction appears to be circlular objects. But you can turn that off and return to default searching. There actually should be more music for you, like HiTech Ninja and the like

holy moly a new video i think i prefer lazer for standard, but i prefer stable for non-standard game modes (probably because of changes in lazer plus the default mania skins arent great) also im very surprised you didnt mention featured artists or actual osu originals being an actual thing, but either way pretty cool video
