🇰🇷 learning korean be like… 🤡🤡🤡 I was stuck in the intermediate level for about 3-4 years. Some people might assume it’s because I wasn’t studying “correctly” or because I’m not very smart. The actual reason? I had other priorities. The first 2 years I was still in university trying to manage my course load, part-time job, and full-time job search while still finding time to enjoy my hobby of l...

My only knowledge for the Korean language is knowing how to read the language. I do not know how Korean grammar works, and I know a very limited amount of vocabulary in the Korean language. South Koreans are some of the most respectful people in the world.
KU is my dream university
Thank you for all of this! I want to go live there for a few months to experience the culture and life (not gonna stay permanently) but I want to be realistic.
Thanks a lot
Indeed. Korea, for better or worse, is becoming the destination spot of Asia. In the same breath, it is also fast becoming the most departed-from place in Asia too.
Thank you for your honesty. I'm going to Korea in a month to study as an exchange student and this video is eye-opening.
Loosing friends, if they are genuine is so rough. Especially if you already feel alone because of the foreigner status.
(first!) Natalia did you see Jimin's new song "Who"?? 😊😊💜💜💜
Jiminshii
Can she just be my friend 😭 i lo her ❤✨
Hey Natalia! Apologies if you're already aware of this book, but I just saw it in the bookshop and it seems like something you might enjoy (it's way above my level rn hahaha): Korean Conversations and Debating: Learn to Talk About Current Topics in Korean by Juno Baik, Eunjin Gye & Julie Damron (published by Tuttle). It's got chapters like "Can we fall in love with AI?" and your fave topic ahahahahaha, "The Low Birth Rate". Anyway hope you're doing well~
💀🤡
Talking to your parents every two weeks is Northern European level of communications! Latin people (the original ones from Europe) and Latin-Americans normally speak daily with their parents, I think… my experience anyway… I mean, you could be dead an decomposing in your apartment and your family wouldn’t know…
Americans made me feel I didn’t belong in the USA and I lived there as a white European for 22 years!
lmao word of advice, our alphabet is super easy, but dont be deceived by that, everything else is very hard.
Are you from Texas?? You're living my future dream. You can always change where you live and what you work for, so please don't feel too discouraged!! Keep going I love you and your channel!
That's a good video A good video! It is very important for any person to find something to strive for and fight for no matter what the circumstances. Once you set the right goal for yourself, making decisions will be easy and fun. What used to seem like an excruciating chore will turn into an enjoyable activity. Go where your labour will be needed! Go where there is money and where your work will be decently paid! Sooner or later you will have to co-operate with people of different nationalities and cultures. To make your business successful, you should learn a foreign language. I would like to recommend to you Yuriy Ivantsiv's workshop "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips on learning foreign language". This book will help you to structure and organise your individual language learning process, will give you the opportunity to independently determine the methodology of language learning, which will become interesting and unburdensome. In this amazing book everyone will find a lot of useful information: how to learn foreign languages, how to memorise information, how to deal with culture shock, what to pay attention to when travelling to another country. I am convinced that the book "Polyglot Notes" should be in the bag of every business person, school and college student, and tourist. The most important thing is that the book gives a good motivation. Don't be afraid to do something to realise your dreams! If people realised that fears have no connection with reality, everyone would live a much better life. Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video. Your videos motivate me and give me new ideas!
ㅋㅋㅋ so funny 😂. Fortunately for you, you’re smart, beautiful, and AMERICAN! You can always live anywhere and thrive because it’s who you are. If you decide to move to Japan or Germany or Dubai, you’ll be successful still. Home will always await you. The comforts of our home is your inheritance still. Many would love to pack up and leave but they can’t. You can. There’s no place like home. The land of the free and home of the brave! 🇺🇸 Love your shirt! You went to Texas A&M?!!!!!!!!!! 😮🤩🤩🤩 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Do people there know that? Bragging rights 💁🏼♀️
화이팅 ❤
Wow really helpful video!! Thank you so much❤ but I have a question ~ every book has a different grammar (I mean 이화 and 서울대 has a little bit different grammar inside) so what you did if you learn grammar and then see that grammar later in other book? Did you start new grammar or just repeat it?
Hello Natalia This was so useful. I wanted to ask is there a possibility for someone who dropped out if their university to get a job? I unfortunately wasn't able to continue my studies due to my financial background But I started freelancing and worked in a specific niche in marketing, i.e. as a copywriter for many brands Now can they count this as experience too? And does me being an drop out affect even if I have worked well for my clients? Would love to see these questions answered in next video
Great list and breakdown.
I have the total opposite case, my reading is really bad, but my listening is great, i understand more while listening than while reading.
Are you a bts army.. 💜
Bestest video ever for Korean language learners ❤❤
How long were you in Korea?
You made me hungry. Especially the dessert.💜
I'm so sorry. This is Greek to me because I'm having a problem comprehending

I've been learning korean for 2 weeks now,so when im not doing anything i find video's that are related to korean learning,so this vjdeo is really helpfull!THANK YOU
Teuida is my favourite but it has soooooo many problems with freezing/locking up during lessons requiring me to restart it ...
To be honest the only K-pop bands I absolutely love is BTS, and SEVENTEEN, however I listened to seventeen recently and I love them way better than BTS.
sry I'm starting to learn Korean but what is romanization? and I'm having trouble actually talking in Korean so can you help with that too?
I have only been learning Korean for around a month, but I’ve been learning German for almost 2 years and I just realized I am in the intermediate plateau. I’m able to communicate comfortably, but I’m struggling to speak fluently and I didn’t know why until now. This is a sad day… :(
