I will say one thing that super did well The original conclusion of super, the tournament of power, does a great job of recalling the themes and story beats of the saiyan saga. Jiren's whole character, just like saiyan saga vegeta, was rejecting any attachment to others, valuing strength alone, fighting only for themself... Only to, just like raditz, be defeated by 2 former mortal enemies (saiyan saga; goku and piccolo / t.o.p.; goku and frieza), finding it in themselves to work together to face a bigger threat because while they are enemies, they ultimately trust each other to get the job done. Case in point, jiren's last words before being eliminated : "so this is the true power of universe 7... Trust." Saiyan saga piccolo and top frieza also share a goal that, while antagonistic to the main characters, naturally aligns with them if the alternative is total destruction. Piccolo cant rule over earth if earth is destroyed, and frieza cant expand his empire if there is no universe to expand in. This one time, they actually need goku's side to win in order to have a chance at accomplishing their own goals, and becoming a temporary ally only makes sense

Got 3 wrong nut I see the difference. Toriyama art had that old anime style with the coloring and imperfections, while the others seems a bit modernize and clean.

Honestly, the entire Namek arc is just fantastic. It starts so slow and keeps building and building ... until we have this amazing fight and then Frieza destroys the planet and it gets sooo apocalyptic until finally the entire planet blows up. Hard to believe Toriyama seemed to make it up as he went along.

Dragon Ball a series that went down hill from the Red Ribbon Army arc compared to BTAS which had at best a bad redesign for season 4 that I grew to accept you might have dumb episodes like heart of ice but at least that episode made the audience think and feel compared to a character who wears the trappings of innocence and endangers the innocent for his war-lust. Batman values life Goku values his own enjoyment now that's a supervillain and Batman is a psychopathic manipulator who thinks his co-workers are remedial. I hate both of them but Batman pisses me off less with his character in the dcau. I hope Goku considers using meth.

For me the most memorable will definitely be saiyan arc. Seeing Gohan grew from mommy boy to a warrior, seeing piccolo turned from evil into sacrificing for gohan. Goku was dying in the beginning. The fight between Goku and Vegeta. The desperate fight before Goku came. To me just simply the best arc ever in all dragon ball series by a big margin. Dragon ball origins also has lots of great moments. Goku meets Gohan. Goku and Jackie Chun fight was really great fight. Red ribbon army is a little boring until they introduce Tao pie pie. I actually really enjoy black Goku and the universe tournament. I would put both of them into A tier. The universe tournament was a good writing, especially with the master Roshi part. There were some bad writing but shouldn’t overshadow the good writing

i dont comapare with toyo and akira but what u did proved nothing any manga or anime will have some bad characters poses dont act as if akira dosent have any and toyotoarou drew zamasu without him knowing how he actually looks he was jsut drawing words on paper and u know he learnt when u look how zamasu actually looked in the official manga and not the draft akira is better than toyotarou but toyotarou is improving massively after each arc look at beast gohan bro

Technically got 10 out of 10, but I didn't pause the video fast enough on one and heard the answer, so I'll settle for the 9. The big telltale difference to my eyes is that Nakatsuru uses a lot more straight lines, especially on character's cheeks. Toriyama's cheek lines usually have a concave curve to them. The one exception to that rule was the Goku/Vegeta piece, which I already knew was Toriyama because I had seen it before. So maybe that shouldn't count either (in which case, I'll settle for the 8).
