@@wanderlustingwithjoe Darjeeling is in West Bengal. North-East India consists of 8 states which are Assam, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim.

I will get there! Nagaland and Sikkim are both on the list for a visit soon

Asok station and Phrom Pong in front of emporium are connected by Skytrain; but not skywalk- about a 15 minute walk on Sukhumvit road between them.

@@wanderlustingwithjoe yeah Joe. Checked out your boat video in Bangkok (excellent). I'll be six weeks or so between October and December from Bangkok, Phitsanulok, Chiangs Mai and Rai and over the Mekong into Laos, ending up in Vientiane, back to Bangers, Hua Hin, trains to Chumphon then Surat Thani, staying three or four nights in each place. Krabi town for five nights then Koh Lanta for a week, flying back to Bangkok for a few nights and back to Blighty. This will be an exploratory trip. I'll consider going back to the Chumphon area to explore another time, thanks to you.

If you are walking across the canal bridge from terminal 21 direction- you want get on the “far” side to go to Pratunam pier direction- don’t worry? Just ask the boat workers? They are nice 👍

The all-day pass offers unlimited trips. English speaking staff will call out every stop clearly over a microphone and ask if anyone wants to alight at that stop. If there are no passengers to get on or off the boat, it won't stop. In between stops, staff explain the sights lining the river on either side. The Tourist Blue Flag Boats do have a 100 Baht All Day pass

Thanks for your detailed opinion. I can understand much of what you write. The trains are difficult to understand if you are a foreigner. But taxis are amazingly respectful and clean and easy! Of course Kyoto is so amazing everyone wants to see it- so that is why in my video I discuss best times to visit temples and Shrines. I loved Kyoto
