Named the “Bay of Islands” by Captain Cook in 1769 this is often considered New Zealand’s most stunning undeveloped beaches, Māori tribal history, and more than 140 pristine Islands to explore! This video will take you on a helicopter ride over the Islands allowing a stunning view that is only achievable by air! I boarded my helicopter in beautiful Paihia. Whether you arrive to Bay of Islands by cruise ship or land, this should be on your bucket list!
