11:18 gonna be honest, i think the play was to instead go with wartortle and dig. that would probably skip one of 2 attacks, and with wartortle strength, it might've koed vileplume.

You can get the tm for ice beam in the game corner and in the route near lavender you can get a lum barry, and if you invest in sp. Attack evs on vaporeon he could sweep with ice beam and if not and he vets stun spored he couled eat the Lum barry and get healed, and he is also safe for a giga drain crit because vaporeon is so bulky + in gen 3 giga drain is 60 bp
