Looks great, if I could make one recommendation that will take this boat from the 90's to today, get that carpet out of there and go with something like GatorStep, or similar. That would be all I'd be looking to do to make it "look even better". BUT, for the mechanical side of things, did you look at the impeller? Those are recommended to be replaced like every year or every other year depending on how well you maintain and use your boat. Judging by the stream coming out when you started it, it may be on it's way out. They are only made of plastic after all. But, I'm no boat expert, just looking to get my first boat, so I been doing all the homework, so to speak. LOL

Never unload your boat that way. Start it and back it off. For two reasons. You know it will run. And if rope breaks you lose your boat across lake. My friend lost his life trying to retrieve his. Wonderful job restoring

Bass boat with a 90 will still do like 35-40 knowing I just took out my 90 pontoon and it hit 26 not trimmed with the top up

You should always wear your life jacket when the big engine is running & hooked up to the kill switch. Also when you're by yourself fishing, wear a life jacket in case you fall overboard, if you do go over the the side & you're alone you can use the big engine to trim yourself into the boat. I think you might have needed some teflon tape or pipe dope on the end of the hose without a gasket.

Kawasaki 20w50 small engine oil is very good for engines and hydro gear drive motors

You may want to hook up your kill switch. You're doing a very dangerous thing operating without one.

Enjoyed watching your good work. A suggestion for you. If you are going to continue to lift heavy stuff like that engine, you should invest in steel toed boots or shoes. I would also suggest you build a lifting device or buy one. One slip could bring on a disaster. I have seen it happen.

I don’t know but I’ve had alot of success with scag as long as you keep it maintained like any engine yes I do like a Kawasaki engine but scag has done me good

a quick tip of advice, when pressure washing don't let go of the handle rapidly, you smash up the unloader on your pump doing that

This came out really nice. Been looking at possibly taking on a project like this myself. Only thing I would say is go to harbor freight or home depot and get some rubber chocks. Dangerous work there with a hammer or a bumper holding in place. Nice work otherwise though.
