Probably my most favorite scene in the entire series. It’s hit every mark of being pure science fiction. The scene was extremely well executed

Absolutely the most manueverable formidable dogfighter was the jupiter 2 in the control of professor Robinson . No need for armaments to defeat even the legendary alan carter in eagle one known for the lean to the side evasion tactic . If only he would have pulled out in time .

I am 59 now, and I grew up loving this show. The only thing I disliked about it was that damnable, long-eared chimp called "Debbie the Bloop". I mean, WTF, guys? WTF? We were children, not not full-on imbeciles.

Always made me laugh that when the Jupiter 2 took off from planet's , it was the crash scene's in reverse.

I also love the scene right before, when Don holds Smith hostage and forces him to order the robot back. "Robot go back to your compartment." Then puts smith into the freeze.

i watched it was new. year ago, i heard the part of the initial lift off is actually from the first landing scene, just ran backwards. still cool though

This is surprisingly well done considering the time between the 2 TV shows. Big Lost in Space fan when I was a kid. And I did watch Space 1999 for a while, when time permitted. Good to see old Zac and his delicate back in action again, lol. Great mash up.

I notice at 1:19 that Lost in Space have a much more realistic idea of how big a planet is than Star Trek. On Star Trek, the Enterprise always looked like it was orbiting something about the size of a basketball. The shot at 1:19 gives a much better perspective on the scale of a planet.

I enjoyed watching Lost in Space in the early evenings in San Diego and then an hour later when I could in Spanish, I had just turned 5. Iconic series. They should've listened to Johnathan Harris's advice to have 'Dr.Smith' killed by the 5th episode. The serious 1st season rocked.

SORRY! This RE-CUT was HORRIBLE! The time of the scenes of the JUPITER 2 entering the atmosphere to Don West making into the suspended animation chamber and Mrs Robinson being belted in below is... WAY OFF! If you are a TRUE loyalist to LOST IN SPACE, you would have gotten this... RIGHT! 👀👀👀🤯🤯🤯
