Thank you for the nice comment, I also play mostly by ear, but my mother is a piano teacher who taught me since I'm 7 years old, then my father introduced me to play in band situation (music ministry), after that to complement my knowledge I take various short courses from some jazz piano teachers, I think nowadays everyone can learn from CZcams! 😊

Yes, that's probably due to "strange" action of Roland's keybed that I'm still trying to get used to, the velocity for piano playing is quite weird unlike my other Rolands, but the sound itself I think on par if not slightly better than Casio's

Really appreciate your opinion 👍 but as for me, the sound quality is still better on MODX, CK wins in wealth of controllers & how practical is the menu, the simplicity of FX is also very great for live use

Thank you & respect to you sir! 😊 As long as I know, the higher end Nord use Kawai's keybed, I've played Nord Piano 5 in my church & it feels similar to Kawai's but in my opinion Kawai's stage piano also have some issues. MP7se first batch have problems in the weighted action system, also the non-piano sounds seem a bit out of date for today's standard especially compared to what Yamaha's/Roland's/Korg's offering now. The organ sound is good, but the other sounds need upgrade, for a pianist standpoint the MP7se is very satisfying 👍

Sebenernya kalo budgetnya cukup lebih baik pilih Yamaha CK61 karena fiturnya sangat melimpah, sound bagus & terutama jumlah knob-tombol dipanelnya banyak & lengkap jadi cocok untuk live performance/ngeband, bisa segera naik-turunin volume layer, bisa cepat edit & bikin sound baru, dll kalo budget kurang/mau nambah perbendaharaan keyboard nah boleh ke Roland GO:KEYS 3/5

Betul 👍 yg sekarang-sekarang sudah so much better dibanding versi dulu, jadi kalo dibawa main live udah gak malu-maluin lagi bahkan banyak orang yang gak nyangka dengan suaranya hehehe

Thank you for the input 👍 actually the Yamaha is a bit quiet on the volume, but whenever I turned it up it became peak, so I've been carefully try to balance those volumes, I also record them in one take to my phone through Roland Go Mixer so no further editing

@@masdhycka7121 Betul, kan XP30 itu ada bawaan expansion Session, nah itu piano nya banyakan ambil dari situ, audionya juga gak di edit/mixing apapun untuk menunjukan keaslian sound bawaannya 😊

No, if you think it's best for you then that's great 😊 I also think Kawai's action is the best, I also prefer Roland's action than Yamaha's but for sound I guess Yamaha pianos are better in a band situation

The dynamics is something that we have to work on.. after a while our fingers will get used to. About the sounds yes some of them are quite unprofessional but about 70% of them are usable, it just like Casio.. some of the sounds are nice but they still include some of the sounds from the old generation, which is so out-of-date for today's music scene. But hey if you need updated sounds or want to expand your sound palette you still can connect it to iPad & the keyboard also transmit USB Audio from iPad 👍

@@ochisalat oh ya satu yg mau sya tnya kn om,,,,dari awal bermusik sya dah pakai PSR,,,dan skrg bru hijrah ke roland dr segi tone/suara nya memang roland lebih unggul tp sya merasa di tuts nya agak keras serasa pakai Yamaha yg seri E 🤭🤭 yg mau sya tnya kan apakah semua seri di roland tutsnya keras sperti itu om..?atau adakah di roland yg tuts nya yg agak ringan sprti PSR.?trmskh sblmnya ats jwbannya om 🙏🙏🙏 God bless

@@johnsamli8334 Sebetulnya tiap produk punya suplier tuts yang beda-beda, kalo Yamaha kayaknya bikin sendiri, ada juga yang buatan Fatar, Medeli, dll kalo seperti itu mesti dicoba & cocokin satu-satu apakah kita cocok sama tuts nya gak, karena kalo saya pribadi ngga pernah pusing sama tuts.. pernah mainin grand piano Steinway di Gedung Kesenian sama tuts Microkorg yang mini paling hanya perlu adaptasi sebentar aja, Roland yang tipe-tipe baru kayaknya udah lebih enteng tuts nya, tapi itu subyektif ya, karena jari tiap orang berbeda 😊

Saya belum pernah main Casio CT-S1000v nanti kalau ada kesempatan saya coba rekam videonya, tapi kalo dibandingkan CTX5000 saya (sama-sama AIX sound engine) sound nya masih lebih bagus CK61, kuantitas nya memang gak sebanyak Casio tapi rata-rata berkualitas & terpakai, untuk layout knob panel kontrol juga lebih lengkap CK61, untuk keybed kembali ke selera masing-masing tapi emang keybed nya Casio lebih empuk & membal nya cukup enak buat jari 👍

@@ochisalat apa memang wajib stereo ya om ? Sy udah ngamari dari beberapa merk dan type keyboard memang KORG lebih middle sih tonenya, sy paling suka Roland sih klau untuk type menengah ke bawah. Selama ini sy main selalu mono om ke soundnya, mungkin pengaruh dari itu ya jadi ndak enak suaranya

@@sosialisasiabal2611 Memang Korg karakternya lebih mid-high kalo Roland lebih empuk & doff, Korg lebih punch & "tembus" kalo dalam situasi ngeband sementara Roland lebih natural & realistis

Unfortunately none of them are having graded hammer action, they only have synth action. As for me, I really prefer the key action of Casio, Roland GO:KEYS 3 key action feel weird to my fingers at the first time, I often hit wrong notes & don't get me wrong, I also have Roland XPS30 & BK5 which I don't have the same problem whenever I play them. But now I'm quite adapt to the key action, I'm hoping that I'll get better 😁

Cukup enak, sangat mirip dengan Alesis Recital yg non pro alias semi-weighted action, ya menurut saya masih lebih baik dari M-audio Keystation 88 saya yang seri awal (warna silver) kurang tau kalo dengan yang sudah MK3 ya

Unfortunately I'm not quite agree with you 😊 but I think the MO6 has more analog feel & warmer sounds, the MODX feel slightly VST-alike, but the clarity & detail are better on MODX

Saya belum pernah main PSR 383 tapi udah pernah yg PSR 473, sound nya setara menurut saya ada plus minus nya ya, keuntungannya di 76 keys & built in styles nya untuk Yamaha memang juara 👍

I also thought about buying CT-S500 but I already have CTX5000 & CT-S400 😁 besides that I also need some Roland sounds since some of my Roland boards have been sold, maybe later I will sell both Casio boards tp fund the CT-S500, but now I still feel comfortable with those 2 boards that complement each other 😊

Which one is better? Roland Go Keys 3 or Casio Ct-s500?

Probably due to cables 😅 I don't use really high quality cables, just some types of Planet Waves cables and also self-made cables from a friend who is a recording engineer, but the Casio is indeed sound very good 👍 but whenever I play live I guess the sound quality of Roland that makes the Go Keys 3 shine compared to CT-S400

@@ochisalat So you think Roland Go Key 3 actually sound better when you play live? I tested Go Key 5 briefly in the shop next to Roland RD 88 and Yamaha PSR E473. I find its speaker output to be very poor. I will go back again to test it with external Pa.

@@paulyllow I don't play through its speakers 😄 I connected the Go Keys to external PA & the sounds are great.. not as good as my Roland XPS30 though
