@@marklimbert4219 This is a series. “Beginner to A+.” I started as E and working my way to A+ starting from the back every race and letting the chat choose the car. It’s just a challenge and something different to try! (I’m A+ on all 3 regions) GT7 has plenty of competition when you hit top split.

@Z28Gaming gap between myself B and A+ is bigger than E to B which is weird

@@marklimbert4219 I can actually agree with that. B-A* is a fairly big gap. However, a mid tier A is very close to an A+ driver. Any mid tier A+ driver can compete top split in my opinion

@@raymond1878 It might not spin every time and it should be okay. However, the problem with TCS is that it will slow you down in high speed corners if you try feathering the throttle. It’s best to turn it off and practice finesse. Race C this week is a good example. Anyone using TCS will have a disadvantage with a lot of corners on that track.

@@lanson666 Thank you! I appreciate the comment! Do you mean my brake % in the wheel settings menu? (Where it shows clutch/brake/throttle) If so, I usually change my brake to around 93% because I want full brake “sooner.” Those values mean how much brake force is needed to achieve 100% brake. My goal is for the pedal to barely move and be close to 100%. This allows me to have more control in the mid range when I race without shoes. By the way, this doesn’t have anything to do with ABS. It’s just how much pressure is needed to go full brake.

@@dekeaustin I don’t have to man, I’m just telling you the truth. I’ve met them personally in Monaco when I competed. Dodgelamb who is “in the game” for the beginner license tests is a controller player. A lot of people made the stage on pad. It’s just better to use a wheel if you want to compete because polyphony makes you use a Fanatec. But you can easily get A+ being on pad. No doubt about it.

@@Z28Gaming I'm really not trying to hate on the controller or anything like that. There are adjustments you can make on a wheel that you can't on a basic PS5 controller, for instance throttle and braking inputs, not to mention force feedback on a high dollar 💵 wheel. You could be right but I would have to see it to believe it. Most videos I see comparing the controller and wheel are not serious. They seem like promotional videos. I would love to see a guy with a controller put down some world championship times on video 🤖📸.... Thanks for the response..

I did a fair comparison and it was very close. I'm getting ready to do a live stream, so if I find it later, i'll send it to you.

My Dad is Polish. My Mom is Spaniard. So I’m 50/50. However, I’ve been to Poland with my Dad and he showed me around. They separated when I was born, so I consider myself more on the Polish side since I wasn’t raised with my Mom. I do take after her physical traits though.

Hmm. I did this a long time ago. If Kie is doing the same, then he probably got the idea from my videos 5-6 months ago. I’m revisiting my old series that I used to do before I stopped streaming. Went from from E-A+.

I suppose it depends who you race. It seems like people overall try to race a little cleaner on race C because the car will get out of control. Both races are fairly fun in my opinion.

No, automatic is much slower. A lot of tricks with the manuals that you can do for more time. For instance on my stream yesterday. You can see that i downshift and unshift early. The automatics don’t do that. They’re too inconsistent.

@@richnick1911 No corvette for me. I have a Mazda now lol. That was a work privilege before because I was driving a lot and capitalizing on mileage. After I get a roof and engaged, I’m going to buy a used C6 z06. That’s the plan.
