Hi fellow CZcamsrs and welcome to your "one stop shop" channel for learning (DIY, Trick Videos, How To's etc.). For some people, learning is a chore but I prefer seeing it as a passion, my passion. I've been a commercial plumber for 11 years and ironically, I have learned many "tricks of the trade" that I feel need to be passed on. I am also somewhat handy around the house so I think this channel should entertain you but most importantly, help you. I release 1 or 2 videos a month approx. so make sure to SUBSCRIBE and click the "BELL" icon right next to the subscribe button to be notified when my new videos are out!

Rim holes 😏
Ball crack me up so hard I almost pass out
😁😁😁
Copper is king , if water quality is optimal, non acidic , if you can afford it
You should have specified pex A for professional installation.
Looks like the bite collar is missing. Probably a mfg defect. Always check the fitting and o-ring before using!
I used your idea of heating up the glue, but used a heat-shrink gun instead. Same result; worked great!
Awesome, super happy it worked!
Way to go
Nice
Here in the UK we mostly use bottle traps or waterless waste valves. 4” soil pipes provide plenty of venting. P and S traps are still available too.
Great video thanks
You are most welcome 🙏
Oo my god the nuts😂😂😂😂😂😂
And how are you going to know if you damage the fitting if it is in the wall?
Why would it get damaged?
This is one of the best videos I've ever seen. Good job my friend. I rarely get on youtube and find EXACTLY what I'm looking for. This exceeded my expectations. Keep em comin! You got another subscriber here!!!

This is the best plumbing channel on CZcams. Thank you!!
Very nice of you 😇
nice..
🙏🙏🙏
You can see John’s little nuts 🥜
My ex has a water tank that was CHEAP because it was an odd short super fat size but I hooked it up with a pair of braided hoses with sharkbites and I probably did it wrong but it worked for years while I was there and to the best of my knowledge it's still working today
Seems like John is constipated.
We Gonna Need Shit
Wish I saw this before I ruined some $24 heater supply lines. Thanks.
Only one problem with the video copper should not be cleaned on the outside for use with shark bites. The inside should be deburred but the outside should have the rough finish to help grab and seal the fitting up. Right from shark bites website
Mine runs off oil. Didn't mention them
ive always have a lot of respect for plumbers, i was choosing between plumbing and electrical right after high school, went with electrical because i got a call from a electrical company to become an apprentice first lol, 9 years in the trade now, i can say that plumber had to deal with harder stuff than us, we occasionally have to deal with heavy lifting, for example, building an electrical vault, we have to put the switch gear and transformers in position and terminate larger cables, but that's nothing compare to some of the plumbers i see, installing large cast iron pipes on ceilings with ladders... soldering copper in confine spaces, i have to be honest, electricians have it good compare to plumbers, i don't mind the fact that they get a few more dollars for their hourly hahaha but please to not mistaken my comment, sparkies aint no walk in the park either, we have our BS as well, please do your research before entering this trade.
I would suggest keeping your flux and brushes clean. May eliminate the couple voids. Otherwise pretty good video.
How does he do it? How does he do it?
GREAT Video! Can you do the same with a toilet flange ?
How about heating applications? Baseborad hydronic connection of copper?
Самый умный из инструментов это тряпка.
1.414..?
Very educational. I thought I knew about plumbers tape...
Is primer required by code on abs? Can abs be used to connect a kitchen drain?
No primer for ABS.
Most important point, clean your joints properly. I add heat from the bottom and add solder to the top. This will ensure the whole circumference is hot enough to draw it in. My last tip is to keep your torch close to the pipe, just where your trilobe flames meet. If you place your torch too far away you will draw in impurities from the burn and soil your joint.
FREE BIIIIRRRRD YEAAAUUUHHHH 🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🦅🔥🔥🔥🔥
How do you clean the messy fitting up before reusing it? Looks like lots of glue and such remains.
Why doesn't a male 3/4inch garden hose screw on to a 3/4 inch brass female ball valve The combination only screws on one 3ed of a turn by hand Like, from 12 o'clock to 4 o'clock
What if youre soldering solid copper blocks. It has to be heated to the max, no?
Just don't use shark bite fittings under ground !!!
Thanks for making this vid!
🙏😇
The technique at 6:00 in was super helpful! I first tried the lazy way and heated the (elbow in this case) and just added more solder. Bzzzzzttt ...nope. In fact the pinhole got worse. What I did do, a bit different than you, is heat up the joint, then gently tap the vice grips until the connection is MOSTLY out but still hnaging on at the edge. I sandpapered the pipe, bought the proper flux (I had tinning flux) and just put flux on the pipe, heated the elbow joint, tapped the vice grips gently until the parts were fully conneted the added solder. This seemed to work for me, going to inspect all connections for leaks in 24hrs but so far looks solid. GREAT video!
Your way is even better than mine, good job 😄
Thanks for laying it all out speaking plainly and to the point. Perfect.
My pleasure :)
Our JOHN's " 2 precious Pearls " WASN'T necessary here .. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🙎🏻♂️ ( All females May had enjoyed alot 🫣😮💨🤭😅 ). Anyways .... The main topic was well - explained. 😊👍🏻
"...which makes it a much safer option for venting." That's a little sus
LOL.
Okay, Never use sandpaper to clean the pipe, but don't tell us what to use to clean the pipe and your pipe wasn't cut square.
The better option is to use Metal Female fitting and Male threaded pipe so prevent fittings from cracking.
So glad i watched this. Im doing my above ground pool w pvc and i wouldnt of twisted. Thanks! Another mistake i probably would of done is tested to see if it works shoryly after. Might wait till next day to be safe since I'll be using 1- 1/2 at some points
Yeah No 11... Watch this video BEFORE attempting things. Or maybe it should be No 1 !
i was told christys doesnt need to b primed.
I have learned a lot of good things from your videos. I did want to point out a small mistake in this video. At about 5:40 you were talking about permeability and I think you got your terminology mixed up. Permeable means that something can pass through the pipe like liquid or gas. If something is non-permeable, it does not let other liquids and gases pass through. I still understood what you meant because you explained it so well with accurate illustrations but just used that one word incorrectly. If I am wrong about this, forgive me. But I watched it three times.
