    The brain computer interface can be hacked and then we become slaves of the hacker who controls our brains so this will be ONLY for people with brain damage after a stroke. Climate change can be dealt with modern technology of desert reforestation,irrigation from air humidity. Energy from the Sun can be harnessed with solar panels in all the deserts like Sahara to power all of Europe and Africa.Pollution can be eliminated by recycling, reusing and cleaning up the environment. Most important is TO ELIMINATE WARS by having a UN ARMY to ENFORCE HUMAN RIGHTS ALL OVER THE WORLD AND STOP WASTING MONEY ON ARMAMENTS! “PEACE ON EARTH AND GOOD WILL AMONG PEOPLE”!

      notice that, at about 0:44 into the video, anant agarwal says that he grew up in mangalore, on the arabian sea. *m*angalore is on the west coast of india, and is indeed on the arabian sea. that was a revealing moment, because the automated, simultaneous translator says *b*angalore instead of *m*angalore. (bangalore is *not* on any coast of india.) a question: of what use is an automated translator, with its underlying artificial intelligence (ai) software if it is incapable of detecting and correcting (or at least sending out a message about) a *geographical inconsistency* such as the above?

    • @greentomato4632
      @greentomato4632 Před 3 lety

      from anant agarwal's words here, i surmise that he is a hardcore eecs (electrical engineering and computer science) person. i suspect that someone would be able to absorb, say, 30% of anant's lectures in a relatively small amount of time (about one month, at the rate of about two hours of instruction per week), only if he had anant's eecs background. in other words, i think that anant is exaggerating, or confusing cause and effect, or doing both. sorry, anant.

    ''what i learned from school was how to learn'' my school didnt even begin to touch on that, what i observed happening was people who were naturally better at learning without help from anyone went ahead and the rest were branded stupid/er. i probably wish i never went at school. theres 1 useful thing i learned at school, as a greek, and that was basic english. but i was learning english for roughly 10-11 years at school, and i feel like that progress would have been done at 2-3 years of watching cool movies and series, with subtitles. remember, native english speakers dont learn grammar etc at school, they learn it on the streets, so that should be possible for any youngster to do from any country, given alot of content that makes them engaged. ps: those who usually also are better students from a young age are the more obedient types, they were told to memorise a bunch of boring shit and they did. i was always a rebel, i asked why? i went to my math teacher at some point around 8 years old and i asked: why should i learn math? how will that improve my life? he didnt know what to say...thats not the kind of teacher i would hire in any school pps: as far as i know, theres no great organization that teaches teachers how to be amazing at teaching, that studies those few rare teachers who are naturals at inspiring you and get your attention, noone is studying them. i have seen online courses from harvard, mit and stanford, and like 5% or less of the teachers are amazing at their job, most are subpar. one i found that was amazing was robert sapolsky, and im confident no school for teachers is studying him to understand what makes him so charismatic, such an effective and inspiring communicator. remember, teachers are there to communicate information, not invent it. for you to be an effective teacher, you must provide more value than a book full of facts and figures would. you must have someting extra.

    Great information sharing. Thank you. Paraphrased encapsulation - Artificial Intelligence: What must be kept distinctly human? Well, the parts that are in the human domain. How do we do that? Organizational courage. How do we benefit from those who get it? Understand both the diverse world of Artificial Intelligence and the much more unique one of the human element. Free up brain space. How can government become more accessible at all procurement levels, considering the fluidity of this technology? Advocate for direct contract relationships, as they are essential. Moreover, think of the benefits of a universally recognized certification and mentoring process that builds confidence through results. Short-term use case: The weather is still a healthy combination of art and science. Aggressively, automate these tried and true methods where the international culture is one of trust and sharing. We are a community of nationals; we are the ultimate joint force. Understanding the character of today’s workforce, If we offer a lifelong experience, we need to mean it. #ThinkPurple
