Wonder what happened to the full video recording of the Worzel Gummidge musical? I've been told that one definitely existed
I grew up on him❤
Ohh yyeeahh you can say that again quality tv😂😅🎉
Just brilliant,talented ,a proper entertainer.
Great representation of Noel Coward.😊. Lovely set.😊 🇬🇧😊🌈🌹💙🇬🇧
Replaced by Crapton, A Talent For Shit🤣🤣🤣🤣
The two bestest jocks ever
Do you have the final program in slightly higher quality than what was already uploaded?
Before 911. 🥹
When humour was actually FUNNY
I am not Chinese, do not have a Chinese wife, or a Chinese baby, and think Benny is hilarious…
I loved benny always knew that I’d get a laugh when he was on, how many comedians starred in one of the best films made ( the Italian job) had a number one record and topped the viewing list with his programme, eat your heart out you useless new order comedians and my craw chokes calling you unfunny impersonators comedians, benny was funny and wrote most of his own material
Westwards music is better
Me likey ten dorra ricky ricky. Benny was the best.
No body can beat the British comedies .rest in peace benny Hill.😂😂❤❤
Henry Magee such a gr8 straight man!
Loved him when I was a kid. Made me laugh so much. Great memories. Love you, Benny, ❤
Brilliant,
Sirri irriot
How Henry McGee maintained his composure amazes me. Loved Bennys shows as a young bloke.
Far far funnier than the self censoring c...p..put out by todays " comedians ".....laddish left wing sneering with an inbuilt filter to not offend unless its the target in a political agenda
I’ve got to admit this is very funny
You carnt beat this 🌹👍🏽oh my God I’m locked in the JOHN 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
You carnt beat this 🌹👍🏽
Communities secretary, Micheal Gove has given the all clear for Make’s £700m ITV Studios redevelopment - Feb 2024. I remember the building as new after London Weekend Television moving from its Wembley studios in 1968, did see some shows at LWT, The Rag Trade and Aspel & Co, struggling to remember, now in my late 60’s, did meet the late Dickie Davies from World of Sport, and watched the late Cilla Black in reception one afternoon.
As an American, there are so many of these that I haven't seen. So there's a lot of catching up to do.
He was the best. Period.
And all what you all done I'm sure you all had a good pay off pensions, Huh.
Thank you for this of course which is most interesting too as well.
Nothing new around this time so much depressing news like everyday there is so much depressing news these days.
A true genius of Scottish comedy with. killer legs!
I’m here because I’ve watched Bob The Fish’s ITV in The Face series. I was born in 1987 and only remember Meridian being the ITV South East franchise holder. TVS is a name I didn’t know until sometime in the early 2010s. The first bits of the 1990 Broadcasting Act (except that it was the reason why these happened) I came across in 2007, which were that Teletext Ltd. and GMTV replaced Oracle and TVAM. Had I been around for Southern’s final night of broadcast, I would’ve watched a bit of And It’s Goodbye From Us to make fun of them for how bitter they were over TVS taking over, but turned over to the BBC around midnight.
Fantastic, so funny and so politically incorrect. Benny and his crew (Henry McGee here) were the best.
Still is, and always will be a comedy legend.
love Harry Belafonte, plastering, at 15 mins, lol.
Ex-cameraman, living in S.E Asia for 15 years: I had no idea this building was being discarded, this video just coming into my feed today. How sad: seems the UK is following the USA in its complete Distain for History and our casual disregard and rejection of Heritage. such a shame. But no surprise I suppose: the site is worth a billion or two to some shark somewhere no doubt. I guess its exactly what London needs eh: more super-luxury, $1Million dollar apartments for Russian Oligarchs.
Sorry but TVS was just better
😂😂😂😂😂
I lived in Hong Kong and this is exactly what they sounded like when they try to speak English 😊
Going going gone thanks to Michael Gove
(58:29 to 58:34) During the ending "Day by Day Waltz" (or whatever the song name was), Does anyone have anything on the cast members on the stage (Outside of the 3 mentioned in the song)? Thanks.
EDIT NOTE: I have at least come to note from the Comments from the 2nd part of the available portions of "And it's Goodbye From us", that listed the Staff at Southern at the time. So, Disregard the original Comment. Disregard the Original comment. Apologies, (TASC2002)
Benny was not for everyone. But my god such talent. Loved around the world, to the surprise of the studio producers in the UK
Tooth hurty .. toooth hurty
@bobthefishproductions is it too early to do a remake of ITV in the face
Benny is 100 years old on 21/1/24.. We love and miss you Alfred Hawthorne Hill.❤💔
I wonder how many people watching this get the Ulster joke?! Just what I needed to cheer me up.
It’s 31 December 2023 for me and I played this on me iPhone!
An early appearance by Miriam Margolyes, great!
Wonderful. Miss his shows xx
I like the creative Southern Television clock fade from logo to live clock
