@@bananapudding22 seems like you can't differentiate banter and disrespect. Knight and Bin blatantly disrespected their opponents on interviews, you can even look them up very easily. Bin said Kiin is a 2nd rate top laner who's still worse than Zeus and said that their (GEN's) win was just luck, and Knight said he's still the better midlaner and will definitely win the next matchup despite getting blasted by Chovy all series long.

@lalo77413 We're talking about whether Bin disrespected his opponents or not. Whether he's better than Kiin or not is a totally different conversation, so what you're saying does not have any correlation whatsoever. Also, Kiin is still at least a top 2 top laner in the whole tournament, he played many other champions other than Ksante and still looked better than 95% of the others, put some respect on his name.

JDG last year was better in teamfights and Defense, but Geng is a bit better with macro. Last worlds T1 had a bit of everything and ultimately became a better teamfighting team than JDG towards the end of the year. But I do feel like this meta heavily favored Geng’s playstyle with the scaling mid. When they play the next patch I believe they will struggle because corki is gone from mid and asol is nerfed and it will come down to more of a late game adc scaling than mid jungle scaling

@@dragonking1051 Late game scaling is Peyz’ comfort, hence why he’s looked weaker this year than the last and Chovy/Canyon have no champ pool issues. I don’t see how they would seem to have any troubles dealing with the changes, unless you’ve only been watching the players in LCK playoffs + MSI

@@jonathanlee6349 I am not saying Chovy and Canyon might have issues, I am saying that T1 will be better in the new meta because of more proactive gameplay. Not to mention the lane swap also helped Geng because it lets u scale freely and was horrible for T1.

​​​​@@dragonking1051GEN was already blasting T1 before this lane swap meta so idk bout that, Peyz underperformed on LCK playoffs but is still known to be effective on hypercarries. It just depends on how GEN will play around him. T1 isn't a better proactive team that GEN at all, they're more into taking risky midgame teamfights that can turn the tides of the game but that doesn't work against GEN because of their discipline to know when to fight or not.

@@aerazel7422 T1 is the proactive team. I am talking about last worlds. They never took risky fights. They always won lane and had prio so they took advantageous fights and snowballed the game from there. And regarding LCK Spring Finals, T1 literally threw game 5 and game 1 came down to an Elder flip. T1 was better in the finals but got unlucky in very impactful situations.

Yep. Lane swaps really hurt teams like T1, TES and BLG and heavily favor teams like GenG or even G2. GenG especially have such a solid top/mid/jungle. Regardless of laneswaps I do think Knight seriously needs to step up on some other champs though.

People act like this geng botlane was bad before MSI when in reality they only underperformed in the LCK playoffs (everyone can have a rough period). They have been great throughout the rest of the year. I think lane swap benefits GENG but just because they are a team that understands macro maybe better than anyone but not because their botlane is “saved” from the other botlane.

@@Objective-oi4zu Compare to GenG mid top or jg their bot was the one that was struggling the most. Yes, there were time they did fine, but their bot side was still their weakness.

Even without laneswaps GENG’s bot was just winning or even. Although Kiin has been playing a lot of Ksante recently that’s just the nature of top due to the meta currently, not because he’s a tank player. I feel that GENG would have won regardless of whether laneswaps were prevalent or not.

Look at the interviews or game show that includes Faker and Chovy, both of them who rarely smiles always smile happily when they look at each others' face :) LCK team always tries to answer iinterview in a way that doesn't disrespect the opponents and avoid disputes Im sure GenG is still worried against T1 especially the close BO5 during spring finals.
