When kornelios and ziras child born they named him milo. But who changed the name to ceaser
You should watch the 14 episode TV show.
The Chimpanzee baby is Milo, later Milo renames himself to Caesar.
Aep
The newer ones are exciting and enjoyable. But shallow. There isn't anything deep about them. The original Planet of the Apes always had a subtext to race wars and current events of the time. Watch the extra features on DVD and Blueray of specials that were filmed in the 70's hosted by the actor who played Cornelius/Caesar. I will point to one specific point in Conquest. The undertones were far from subtle in that one. Caesar is speaking with the black guy about how he of all people should understand their plight. I don't know how anyone could not see the parallel. In Beneath the Planet of the Apes you see a reference to the Vietnam war where the General and his army come across protestors wanting to end the war. The original work in book form is nothing like the movies. Apes flying in space. Apes in suits and ties. Skyscrapers. It was a remark about the political atmosphere in (France?) But even in this form it was political. The movies took it a step further. The very first draft was written by Rod Serling, the creator of the Twilight Zone, also a series with political undertones and events of the time. When Planet of the Apes was released in the 60's it was held in high regard because people recognized the parallel between the apes and African-Americans. The original shows were obviously political commentary paralleling the time in which they were filmed. They were more than simply at the time flashy Sci fi movies; they were mirrors. Each show followed the USA in particular from the Stokes monkey trials AKA evolution in POTA. Feared nuclear war with Russia BTPOTA. Fear of the government and ruthless politicians EFTPOTA. The class system and enslavement of minorities aka blacks and the resultant revolution COTPOTA. And finally BFTPOTA which had the humans trying one last shot to fight the future in which apes and humans lived together in peace.
17:08 *4 bangers in a row
Dammm the first one is now the remake of the latest one kingdom of the planet of apes
Wow you really know how to make a person hate your face so much they stop watching your video altogether. And yeah, go watch the originals kid.
Not a trilogy anymore
Dawn is one of the greatest movies ever made imo
I did not like the last one, the kingdom .not as good as the rest
7:08 it was the ship at the start of all this. that rando ape recovered taylor's ship
"Escape from the Planet of the Apes" WAS a spin off. It was a treatment for a potential TV series. With "Conquest" being a Pilot for the TV show.
You thought that the andy serkis cgi apes were good. wow. they looked like seriously cartoonish to me.
Interesting that you took your time to watch the classics! Bookmarked, until I watch the rest of the new Planet Of The Apes movies after part 1.
If I had been captured and put into a cage with Nova in order for us to mate. Yeah that breeding program would’ve been a success.
I think the ending in Tim Burton's Planet of The Apes is actually going to the original book. In the book the human went to a planet where apes were technologically advanced. If there was a sequel, I think it would've been more like the book.
Okay, now you should make a video about kingdom of the planet of the apes, becasuse i love your video so much
Once somebody dreamed up the planet can be taken over by apes and humans will be put in zoos. Then somebody else dreamed up, AI will do that. All i see is human putting other humans in zoo and unaliving people.
We need no 10. Anther ape movie please
Anyone know what the outro song is?
Update: kingdom is also really good!
nice description
I seen all the Planet of the Apes including all the new ones but I love and it's one of my favorite part of the ape movies the one with Mark Wahlberg I can watch that one over and over it's one of my favorites
Can someone please help me out? I've been racking my brain on what song is used for the short musical intermezzo between te films in this video (like here 6:38 ). I'm pretty sure I know it but can't remember it for the life of me. Shazam is no help either. Kinda reminds me of Madonna's Live to Tell, and has Arcade Fire/MGMT vibes, but argh, it just kills me that I can't put my finger on it.
That Bee Movie courtroom scene though...
The best one is the musical - on the Simpsons
Great video. The original film is I think an actual masterpiece. The later copies are just so bland though. I can't feel much for CGI. p.s SPOILERS: The plot twist of the 2001 film, is simply the plot twist from the orginal book! Simiarly, when the apes go back in time to Earth, this has similarities to the plot of the original book. Its quite different.
The first one is so goated the 2nd one up until Rise were kinda trash. Rise through war are awesome
Was the time travel explanation during the Escape From segment an homage to Ralphthemoviemaker? It reminded me of one of his Terminator reviews.
I liked 3 and 4 (director's cut) but the 5th just seemed lame
The original 5, TV series and 2001 film were all amazing. The new series eats dick.
Oh boy. New Planet of the Apes movie coming out! Cant wait!
8:27😂😂😂
9:31 This is the same house that the rats were living in at the beginning.
I find it fascinating that you happened upon the old movies after all this time. You are all right in my book lol. I saw all 5 in a Sunday movie marathon with my Dad n Mom n Sis. We were in the theater from noon to midnight. 😅
Wait until he hears there’s a new one releasing in 10 days
War was really a mediocre final film
01:24. What about the cartoon and live action shows? And the original novel? 02:16. "I only like good effects in computers..." Someone make this kid watch John Carpenter's "The Thing" please. Since he seems to think practical effects are "teh bad." 🙄 04:20. You don't know who Jerry Goldsmith is? One of the greatest music composers Hollywood ever had? Jesus Christ... 🤦♂️ 07:38. I just assumed they used whatever Deus Ex bs portal that took the astronauts to the future, but they never bother to explain it. 14:07. Tbh...I thought this was a prequel to the 2001 film at the time.
Yo they just switched around Cornelius is Caesars dad then Caesars Cornelius Dad two times
In Ceaser generation in battle of planet of apes as Cornelius is died who will be the feature Cornilius with his wife Zira goes back to past and give birth to Ceaser Since the story of time travel continues (In Orginal Series)
They're bad bro just admit it😅
I have all of them in DVD or most of them at least. The reason why they can make another movie after beneath The Planet Of the Apes is because the nuke is a localized detonation, you know. Fun fact in Tim Burton's"' film Heston plays the father or leader in that reversed role from the original. I have a Dune 1984 like Love/Hate for the Burton movie but it fits as a stand alone film. The last version of the franchise is excellent and covers things the others did better.
Had to come back and watch this again in preparation for the 4th installment of the... re-remakes saga!
Humans ruled apes apes ruled human blah blah blah great movie!!!
So dumb ass it how it all started from the beginning and all the time lines from the beginning and to the end!!!
This is just bad.
Anyone else hear after the 4th movie was announced
First three brilliant make up classics forget the rest
Not since LOTR has there been a finer trilogy of movies.
