Tsugaru Winter Scene Lyrics (津軽海峡冬景色) by Sayuri Ishikawa Since I stepped off the night train departing from Ueno, Aomori Station was within the snow In the crowd of people returning north, everyone is silent. I hear only the rumbling of the sea I, too, ride alone on a connecting ferry. I gazed at the seagulls that seemed like they would freeze and cried. Ah, the Tsugaru Strait winter scenery......

I believe a woman Dianne Cleverly was the first person to swim across lake nyasa in c. November 1963. I was there when she completed the swim and walked onto the beach at Grand Beach Hotel and welcomed by a small crowd of wellwishers. (I stand to be corrected if I am mistaken)

@user-hz8xd2ft7i, can you email me at steven.munatones@kaatsu.com and tell me as much as you know about Dianne Clevely's swim across Lake Nyasa in November 1963. I am an open water swimming historian and her swim was lost in the dustbins of history. I would like to honor her with as much information as possible. Thank you very much in advance.

Maarten did this unprecedented 45-hour swim to raise money and to honor his good friend. In my opinion, there is no swimmer who has done so much for so many other people as Maarten has. He has raised nearly 20 million euros to fund and support 45 different cancer research projects. Additionally, he is the only Olympic champion - in history - to overcome leukemia to win a gold medal. In the midst of fighting back from leukemia, he lost half his body weight. His pain was indescribable. Yet, Maarten continues to be a humble, insightful inspiration to many. So Alanna Guadalupe if you think this is inappropriate self-promotion, you are dismissing all the good and selfless actions that Maarten has accomplished in his life. Let others judge Maarten's accomplishments, mindset, and unselfish acts. Let others judge how offensive, inappropriate, and wrong your comment is.

Hi, I've been following your channel for a long time and everything in your videos has always been spectacular. The sessions are great, the quality is fantastic... this channel is absolutely brilliant and you helped me a lot with the majority of my curiosities about swimming, thank you so much, I appreciate everything you do on CZcams, good job! Anyway, I would like to make a suggestion (if it's not a problem for you): I'm convinced that you can add a really funny video on your channel to show us some of the funniest things happened while swimming or even during other water activities, I was thinking of something like a "oops and bloopers" compilation. For example, you could gather all of the times where you or your swimmer friends get recorded on video during ops time... like a pee time! Once, my uncle, who is a swimmer too, told me “oh that’s a buoy, I mean, my ocean toilet, hang on!” while we were swimming in the ocean and it was soooo hilarious and funny that I almost died 😊. He always tells me there are 2 types of swimmers, divers and surfers: those who pee in the water and those who lie. If you want, you could also include those "releasing" moments as small clips in the future videos just to keep having a bit of humor on your channel, you can use both old and new clips, what do you think? Yeah… I know, it could sound weird for you right now, but, in my opinion, it's the funniest thing about divers and swimmers, believe me. When a swimmer pees in the water (even if it’s a pool), I think they demonstrate to be someone who is not afraid of consequences or to be judged and they just enjoy the moment, no matter what happens. And if you can't tell when someone else does it, well, you could ask them to do a particular sign before they do it, I think it's something that can come out great! I'd be so so happy to watch it, let me know, have a wonderful day!

I've known Simon since 5th class at St Aloysius College in Sydney and remained friends ever since. To hear Si's taken up running and now completed a marathon, in one way, was very surprising as I remember how much he hated running when we used to row together at Riverview; but on the other hand, it wasn't surprising at all because Si just never knows the meaning of the word, 'can't'. Si was also such a patient teacher when I first took up swimming and could hardly swim 2 laps in succession; but, under his excellent guidance I was soon easily swimming kilometres every day and improving all the time by following his advice. Always an incredible inspiration to me, particularly as I've finally gotten off the couch and taken up running again just this week. No plans for a marathon just yet, but we'll see! Thanks mate and much love. Chris
